The reason why Allah (swt) allows a believer to go through certain stages at times is in order for us to realize that the mistake was right at the beginning.
The minute we fall ill, the minute calamity strikes, the first thing we need to do is turn to Allah. The difference between a believer and one who does not believe is that the believer primarily turns to Allah before everything we say Bismillah..
You cannot blame the Takdir of Allah (swt), the predestined of one thing that may have led to another thing, When Allah gave you the capacity and the mind and the ability to do or not to do.
Allah creates positives out of a negative. What seems negative to you is a positive to Allah (swt). If you are a believer and you lay your trust in Allah, nothing can go wrong. You’re a believer. You don’t look at it negatively. It’s a trying time. It’s a test. It’s a difficulty.
But amazing are the affairs of a true believer. For indeed, all his or her affairs are good. If something bad happens physically to us, as we human beings would look at, we would consider it to be the decree of Allah. It was a good thing. We bear patience and the patience will result in us being rewarded immeasurably.
And if something good according to us happened where we achieved what we thought, we wanted to achieve as humankind, we make what is known as Shukr. We thank Allah. We don’t become haughty. We don’t become arrogant. We don’t become people who think they are mighty and so on. We understand this was from Allah. It is also temporary. But Allah has given us this gift. And so we will become even closer to Allah.
Don’t ever question the decree of Allah. Thank Allah. Let it be a means of drawing you closer to Allah through all your Ibada and staying away from sin and engaging in Istighfar and you need to know daybreak only follows the darkest hours of the night.
Don’t forget, you’re a human being. You will falter. But you will also repent immediately and make amends regarding your relationship with Allah.

The whole purpose of salah is to gain nearness to Allah, to ultimately get awareness, like you said excellence. So that’s the ultimate objective of Salah.

Praying salah and doing the remembrance of Allah, it ultimately leads you to Ihsan /excellence. So excellence is the goal, salah is the means. These rituals are worshipped to the means. and the means is taqwa/ God consciousness…
So definitely these two books, ‘A thinking person’s guide to Islam’ and Imam Abu Hamid Al-Ghazali (Rah)’s book ‘IHYA’ ‘ULUM AL-DIN’ to delve in deeper into the kind of spiritual aspects.

If the person has outstanding religion and they have outstanding character, that’s who you want as the father of your children, as an eternal leader of the home for example, a person who will take you through to JANNATUL FIRDAUS.
Your spouse, Allah chooses both of you for a purpose. There is a purpose you will fulfil either a good one or a bad one. Make Dua. It’s a good one. Make Du’a. It is a purpose that will make you earn JANNATUL FIRDAUS as a result.
Don’t become sad when your spouse is asking you to become closer to Allah because that is what your success would ultimately be through mercy of Allah.
the more religious you are, One of the characteristics is you become romantic with the right people. Notice the last words, the right people, because when you’re not religious and when you’re not conscious of Allah, you are romantic, but with the wrong people.
When you’re conscious, you become romantic with the right people. And this love and affection is felt. And this connection is felt so deep. It’s just amazing.
There are days when you may not have and there are days when you will have. A man’s test is when he has everything. And a woman’s test is when he has nothing.
may Allah make us focus on the Akirah and on Jannah.. rather than focusing on petty material things of this world, this world does not equate even the weight of the wing of a fly in the eyes of Allah.

If a person tastes the sweetness of certain voluntary deeds, not only can it help them be more consistent with the obligatory deeds, it can help revive the spirit of those obligatory deeds.
Allah (swt) revealed to the Prophet (pbuh), to the ummah by extension, to stand up and pray at night, to stand up and pray a significant portion of the night and to recite a significant portion of what was revealed.
there was a wisdom to that that when you are struggling, this practice is not just a means of giving you great perspective and great connection to your Lord but it also provides a unique level of relief, of hem, of stress and anxiety.
You stand up at night, you have a direct connection to your Lord. It’s just you and Allah. The rules of Qiyamullail are not as rigid, But with the Qiyam, you can spend the whole night with one or two ayats you can allocate certain times to your prostration, certain times to your standing up. It’s a moment of joy.
There is nothing that connects a person to Allah like that time because Allah Subhanahu Taha mentions to Allah like that time because Allah (swt) mentions that He descends at that time in a way that befits Him (swt), He’s calling out to you and He’s saying, who wants to come close to Me?
Allah has all the time for you. Allah does not take slots. It’s not restricted for some religious people somewhere in the world, No.
The broken, the sinner, the righteous, the person who’s trying to be righteous; everyone is calling upon Allah that time of the night. That’s your time to get close to Allah (swt).
The Quran makes a very philosophical argument; Allah says in the Quran, did this universe create itself? So He asked the reader, this very important question as to don’t you think about where this is all come from? And does that not arrive at effectively something or someone that actually created it… brought it into existence?
We believe that this is the infinite Majesty and strength and power of God Almighty.
we would say is that to our atheist, brothers and sisters in humanity is that if you actually think about the fact that this universe exists and therefore it requires an explanation, and there are only two explanations.
One, however, it came into existence, it had some material cause. It was some other material cause, nothing to do with God; Nothing to do with some creative power as such.
And the other argument would be that, no, it has to be designed in a specific way. It has to be proportioned in a specific way to work to function. And this all points to intelligence and a will to create and this is the explanation of God, for argument sake.
Therefore, the only logical conclusion, reasonable conclusion, I would say, is that it needs a Creator that created it, that proportioned it that designed it. And that is God for us, God Almighty.
This life is very short and death is just for all of us; tomorrow, today, maybe tonight on the way home. And we say to our brothers and sisters in humanity that Allah says that this is the reality after you die. So worship Me, follow My guidance and you will be successful.
And so we are calling our brothers in humanity through logic, through reason. I believe through evidence as well; to come to Islam, to accept Islam, study Islam…
