Oh people eat from that which is on Earth for as long as it is halal and Tayyib which means pure and clean. because if it is not pure and clean according to the Quran the energy that is derived from that food, which is impure and unclean would only be used in that which is impure And immoral.
Have you earned it that which is free from deception, free from that which is harmful and free from that which is illegal such as stealing and so on.
Allah says Your food must be Tayyib, Not only Halal but make sure that even the animals that you are consuming have been treated in the most befitting way.
The plate of food in front of you, try to finish your food. Don’t be wasteful. if you are wasteful how do you expect comfort in times of Crisis? That food which we had taken into our plates and wasted it could have been a meal for those who don’t have food at all.
Calling out to the almighty already there is so much of comfort in the hearts. Like I always say when we call out to the almighty he hears us definitely he has already heard us….
O you who believe, Seek assistance through patience and prayer, for indeed Allah is with those who bear patience.
I know that after the darkest hour, there is always Daybreak. The one who brought about that Daybreak will actually bring about the Daybreak in my crisis and as much as I am convinced that the sun is going to rise, I’m also convinced that my problem is going to end.
Put your head on the ground and call out to your maker. The closest you could ever be to your maker is when you are in prostration.
The closest that a slave could be to his maker is when his head is on the ground for his maker, crying to his maker. Oh my maker, help I need your help. Allah will respond- Ameen.
So you think of where you came from, where you are right now, where you are heading and that brings about a lot of comfort. Many of us cling to dear life. Although we know we have to leave it. So just embrace.
Thank Allah, do your best while you’re alive leave behind a very good Legacy, leave behind something good, do good for your own self and investment for the future.
Dua /Supplication is definitely a way of achieving comfort in times of Crisis. We sometimes feel that Allah is not responding but he knows the future, so He doesn’t want to give it to us.
Do we have the correct relationship with Allah, did we pass the tests that Allah placed in our lives or did we seek the forgiveness of Allah before we called out to Him at least?
Don’t judge Allah by what He has given others, Allah Subhanahu wa’ta’ala, you should judge your own relationship with Him. If He has given you, it’s not a sign that He’s happy with you. He’s given the disbelievers and those who don’t recognize Him.
Allah is saying clearly that we should not be miserly when we are praying or supplicating to Allah, call out for everyone. When you ask Allah to bless someone who’s a disbeliever, the biggest blessing is the blessing of guidance and Faith
When we’re a supplicating to Allah make sure you’re on the right page, make sure you’re doing the right things. You cannot be a person who’s transgressing against Allah day and night and expect that when you call out to Allah he’s going to be excited about it without you having even developed your relationship with Allah.
You want the Comfort? well a way to get the comfort in the times of Crisis is actually by getting onto the right page in your relationship with Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala. Then call out to Him and when you call out, don’t call out for yourself alone.
Remember your parents your children your family members your teachers, all the others in the broader family, your town your city and the whole world the Believers as well as the disbelievers wow.
The prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam talked about suhoor. when you wake up in the morning and you have your meal before fajr, suhoor (pre-fasting meal) the prophet (saw) said that look don’t abandon that suhoor, don’t abandon that moment Even if you’re just going to drink a sip of water because the Angels pray upon the one who eats suhoor or takes that suhoor whether it’s through water or dates or whatever it may be.
The prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him says whoever visits a magician to cast a spell has disbelieved in what Muhammad peace be upon him has brought. It is wrong for anyone to do that which is unacceptable like casting a spell or visiting a person who would cast a spell. Remember it is equally wrong for us to accuse the innocent of casting spells or being a witch or a wizard.
We stop accusations. We stop casting spells. We stopped visiting others who cast spells or claim to bring about goodness for you because they will never bring about goodness for you. Goodness lies in the hands of Allah.
Allah says we have favoured you Way Beyond any test that has come in your direction. During times of crisis when you concentrate on the positives, you will definitely make the negative that is right in front of you seem very small.
We were sent on to the Earth in order to be tested. From the moment we were born right up to the moment we shall return to Allah. We will be tested one after the other. So many things will happen for Allah to actually give us an opportunity to shine and to develop a better relationship with Him.
Nobody not a soul on Earth has had it the way they wanted it. We’ve all had it the way Allah wants it, wanted it and shall have it. So learn to develop a relationship with Allah and understand you will be tested. It doesn’t mean Allah hates you. It doesn’t mean He’s angry with you.
Do not let a single morning or an evening pass without saying “Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom bi Rahmatika astagheeth” we are to say every morning between fajr and sunrise and everyevening between asr and magrib.
when anything would bother the prophet (saw) you could hear him saying; Yaa Hayyu Yaa Qayyoom bi Rahmatika astagheeth oh, ever-living, oh ever sustaining; in your mercy, I seek relief and be constant with saying; ‘YA DHAL JALALI WAL IKRAM’ O possessor of majesty and honour, from Anas (ra).
SAY ‘YA DHAL JALALI WAL IKRAM’ ABUNDANTLY
يا ذا الجلال والإكرام

Our Lord! Grant us good in this world and good in the hereafter, and save us from the chastisement of the fire [2:201]
Allah gives us comfort in that crisis by making it easy for us. People have been asking those on the front line, those in the front line who are serving at this particular time in our history. They are serving Humanity, saving lives, engaged in so much in order to serve communities.
if you are unable to fast Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala says don’t worry, we intend ease for you just like when you are travelling and your prayer becomes shortened in some cases or you may join it in some cases, We are giving you a leeway when it comes to fasting You can make it up sometime after Ramadan.
If you’re healthy, you must fast, you should attempt to fast at by all means but You’re really unable and if you cannot, don’t worry, you can always do it later Allah knows.
There are numerous narrations about simple people in society that had very simple duas that People might have mocked or found to be very rudimentary, but they were actually very special, right, and they spoke to the beauty of the hearts of those whose tongues would Express those simple forms of dua .
Islam is not an elitist religion. Islam is accessible to the Bedouin and it’s accessible to the king. It’s accessible to people across their socioeconomic status, because we all supplicate the same God, we all have the same mechanism for supplicating that one God.
No one has a shorter ladder to him, right? It’s just there, Allahumma oh Allah! and once you say oh Allah then all of us are in the same plane when we say o Allah O My Lord, right, and just call upon him in that way.

Syed Ul Istighfar / the chief of seeking forgiveness
Be a person of contentment, be a person who is satisfied with what Allah subhanaw Taala has chose for him/ chose for her.
The prophet (saw) said being rich and prosperous and wealthy is not about having a lot of money, a lot of material possessions. No, he said being prosperous is when your heart is content that is when you are rich, when your heart is content. Allahu Akbar,..
As a traveler how many extras do you want to be carrying on your back, lightest will be quickest on the Day of Judgment.
Truly Victory belongs to the Believers. True success in this world is closely connected to your success in the Hereafter.
The hadith says that the best of speech is the speech of Allah. The best of words are the words of Allah; connect yourself to the words of Allah.
I promise you if you were to make an effort with the word of Allah, Allah will come closer to you more than you can imagine.
The prophet (saw) said that Allah is shy, when his servants raise his hands in dua/ supplication to let them come down empty without being answered. Allah (swt) Allah subhanaw Taala is shy and generous so that when a servant raises His hands to the sky, there’s no way that Allah (swt) would let those hands come down from the heavens empty and rejected.
Here’s transliteration to help with pronunciation of the dua,
Allahumma anta rabbi la ilaha illa anta, khalaqtani wa-ana ‘abduk, wa-ana ‘ala ‘ahdika wawa‘dika mas-tata‘t, a‘oothu bika min sharri ma sana‘t, aboo-o laka bini‘matika ‘alay, wa-aboo-o bithanbee, faghfir lee fa-innahu la yaghfiru-thunaba illa ant
O Allah, You are my Lord, none has the right to be worshipped except You, You created me and I am Your servant and I abide to Your covenant and promise as best I can, I take refuge in You from the evil of which I have committed. I acknowledge Your favour upon me and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for verily none can forgive sin except You.
