Fitnah From Social Media Post And Don’t Get Your Group Involved

Ibn Abbas (ra) said the documentation of Allah is every expression, every word and every signal whether it is expressed written or spoken. That’s the way that Allah documents

If you would not bring yourself to say it to someone, don’t write it.

When we use social media use it in a way that if you were to die for some reason you would not be embarrassed about the content that you have put out there.

As a Believer we should do that which is good. We should do that which is not embarrassing if we were to die and even if we did not die, but we need to be much more responsible when it comes to the use of social media.

Which Deeds Will Get Multiplied By Tenfold On The Judgment Day | Mufti Menk

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him explains to us who the bankrupt person is. And he says that it is a person who has a lot of good deeds, a lot of good deeds, but when they come on the Day of Judgment, they did wrong to people. So, Allah took those good deeds and actually gave them to the others, such that there were no more Good Deeds remaining.

So this is why Allah says when you do good deeds, make sure protect them by not engaging in harming others and come with them on the day of judgment, We will multiply that for you tenfold.

If a person does the bad deed, Allah instructs the angel to hold on not to write it against them yet for a period of time for a part of the day or a part of the night, why?

Perhaps this person might seek forgiveness. So there’s no need to write it yet. So we’re given a time after committing a sin to repent.

The guilt or the regret that a Believer feels immediately after committing a sin is actually the mercy of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala.

Which Bring Crises Upon Crises And How To Avoid These | Part 1 | Mufti Menk

Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala gave Muhammad peace be upon him being the final messenger of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala a list of things that He wanted us to know are actually part of the prohibitions that He has declared prohibited.

So there are many things that are prohibited. Each time Allah prohibits something it is in order for us to be protected from harm, in order for us to achieve goodness, in order to regulate our lives such that we can be comforted.

And if we are in a crisis, we will definitely be comforted by understanding what is prohibited and staying away.

When it comes to Allah there is obedience. When it comes to your parents, there is kindness.

But if it is beyond or outside the obedience of Allah, then there is no obedience for the creatures when it comes to the sin against the One who created.

Allah says when you do business be open, be transparent, don’t cheat people, don’t shortchange people and you will achieve comfort in that deal.

Do not usurp the wealth of others. Don’t shortchange people in business whether it is weighing the scales or whether it is just dealing; be transparent, be open, be merciful and Allah will grant your blessings

Never Forget To Recite This Short Dua After Every Prayer | Shaykh Hasan Ali

Mu’adh (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) took hold of my hand and said, “O Mu’adh! By Allah I love you, so I advise you to never forget to recite after every prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
“Allâhumma a’innî alâ dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ‘ibâdatika
O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner”

[Abu Dawud] [Book 16, Hadith 1422]

Know Who Your Enemies Are | Citocs-Ep19 | Mufti Menk

Yes, we do have enemies. We may know some of them and perhaps we don’t know some of them but the biggest enemy is the devil/shaitan.

He makes us think at times beyond the level that we’re supposed to be thinking upon and we start doubting people. He creates fear in our hearts.

He makes us doubt good people sometimes and we begin to think that perhaps they are our enemies. Yet they’re good people and sometimes he makes us draw closer to the real enemies so that we become those who have lost either in our relationship with Allah or in any other way.

وَاللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ بِأَعْدَائِكُمْ ۚ وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ وَلِيًّا وَكَفَىٰ بِاللَّهِ نَصِيرًا – 4:45

Wallaahu a’lamu bi a’daaa’i-kum; wa kafaa billaahi waliyyanw wa kafaa billaahi naseera

And Allah is most knowing of your enemies; and sufficient is Allah as an ally, and sufficient is Allah as a helper.

Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala tells us in Surat annisa. That He knows better than you who your enemies are. SubhanAllah. How many of us have actually accused the innocent of being an enemy? How many of us have befriended an enemy? So we’re sometimes confused because we judge people. May Allah (SWT) forgive us.

If you develop a correct relationship with Allah, he gives you the ability to distinguish. Do you have a good relationship with Allah? Yes, well then forget about it. He will protect you. He will definitely be there for you.

How To Have All Creations Seek Forgiveness For You Even Fish In The Sea | AIYP Ep-14 | Shaykh Omar Suleiman

To leave your home with the intention of seeking or spreading knowledge is the most noble Pursuits, that we find in the Sunnah of the Prophet salallahu alihi wasalam.

Hadith that as a person goes out seeking knowledge the inhabitants of the heavens and the Earth all seek forgiveness for that person whether it is the angels in the heavens or the fish in the sea, each one of them seeks forgiveness for that person as they go out seeking and spreading knowledge.

Seeking or spreading knowledge is a means of connecting you to the people because your relationship with them is benefiting them and even the environments because ibn rajab (rah) commented on that, what would cause the fish in the sea to seek forgiveness for that person is that a person of knowledge thinks about the rights of everything on them and And so they treat even their environment with care.

go for the blessing of having the Angels lower their wings for you and having all of these creations seek forgiveness for you at the top of them those highest Angels sending their peace and blessings upon you showing their approval and their humility to the person who is learning becoming more humble and being beneficial to everything around.

Make Haste Towards Two Things Including Extinguishing Anger | Citocs-Ep14 | Mufti Menk

We are human beings, we sin. We falter and at times we transgress knowingly and the times unknowingly. May Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala forgive us. So well, but Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala tells us there is a race. You must make haste.

It is the race of achieving Comfort during that type of a crisis. The crisis is sinful Behavior, the sins and the comfort is the race.

Allah says We want you to race to make haste towards two things. Number one; the forgiveness of Allah, number two the paradise.

There are four conditions to wipe out sins including recurring ones. The same four conditions would actually make you sinless and spotless once again; and again and again and it is endless.

What are the four conditions of seeking forgiveness? Number one: admit your sin to yourself between you and Allah, number two: regret it. That’s also between you and Allah, number three: seek forgiveness. That’s also between you and Allah, number four: promise not to do it again, that’s also between you and Allah.

Allah has already said those who develop the correct relationship with me and they are the ones who spend during days of ease and during times of hardship.

The racing towards forgiveness and Paradise that is prepared for those who are conscious of Allah that race includes spending but together with that you need to extinguish your anger.

The prophet peace be upon Him says a powerful person is not he who can out wrestle others; a powerful person is the one who can extinguish his anger when he’s angry, subhanallah. Can you do? Well, then you achieve a lot of comfort. You protect yourself from many crises.

And Part of developing your relationship with Allah and earning paradise and winning the race is to forgive people, learn to forgive others.

Correct Her In The Most Loving Way 🚫No License to Disrespect Someone’s Daughter | Mufti Menk

The prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam reminds us who the best from amongst us is- he (saw) Said the best from amongst you is the one who is best to his wife, primarily That’s the meaning but by extension, it includes your spouse which means either way it also includes the broader families,

Why is so much importance given to the #wife? You bring in someone’s daughter, an innocent person, someone who’s come into the house. She is the daughter of a family who loves her.

Now, you’ve brought her with the name of Allah into your care, the best from amongst you are those who can appreciate her for who she is and when you have to correct her or when you have to say something you say it in the Most loving and kind way.

You must stand up for your spouse, never use religious blackmail to oppress your own wife and to let her know or to tell her, you know heaven lies at the feet of my mother. That is statement is used as religious blackmail.

Build your relationship, be kind be good in the way you speak to each other. Don’t be very demanding.

They may like or dislike slightly differently from you. But that doesn’t mean you have the license to disrespect them and disregard who they are, honor them and Allah will give you honor.

That Hadith People Forget In Respect Of Marriage Fixation– Mufti Menk

One of the biggest diseases is when we worry about others. So, many problems come about because people worry about what others are going to say; brother, lead your life, the others will follow.

If we followed the proper system that of Islam that is so simple; free of racism, nepotism, tribalism, whatever else ISM and free of materialism etc, we would have been married a long time back.

One of the reasons why we’re not happy in our families is we’re blocking what Allah did not block. Remember this, we stopping what Allah did not stop.

So how can you be happy? How are you going to have a happy home? Towards our happy home you want to walk in that direction.

The hadith says if the Deen is good if the Akhlaq (manners) are great and so on and the both of them would like to marry one another. If you’re not going to let that happen? The same hadith says there will be fitna (distress) and Fasad (rottenness) on earth. People don’t want to hear that hadith. Sometimes religious people don’t want to hear it.

A lot of the people are suffering. Make things, easy make halal easy Allah will give you happiness. If you make halal easy you’ve made haram difficult and if you made halal difficult you made haram easy.

Don’t let your pride and your ego drive you beyond what Allah has told you, not at all.

If Allah wanted he could have created a singular so you have no family. It’s just me. If he wanted he could have done that we could have grown from the ground like the trees, know it’s just me. I’m alone, singular but Allah wanted us to feel better to have a type of a life where we are empowered by those around us. They support us so we live and we can actually have interactions that are beneficial for us. Every interaction will either take you towards Jannah which is paradise or towards Hellfire which is Jahannam every, interaction is one of the two.

Every time something happens ask yourself if the Prophet (saw) was here what would he have told me and it does Allah allowed all these or does he not allow it? How can I actually earn a reward and how can I protect myself from the opposite, as simple as that?

Softened Heart Is One Of The Clearest Signs Of The Closeness To Allah ~ Mufti Menk

Does that for Allah; see your family, and see your home becoming a happy home because you put Allah at the beginning. the one was develop your relationship with Allah, the other one was your character and conduct because that Allah has created everything else. Your relationship with all those things watch it, develop it that’s your jannah. Those two things; how you are with Allah and how you are with everything else.

you’ve got you’ve got to cleanse yourself, take out the jealousy, take out the malice, take out the Envy, take out the love you know everyone loves nice things but when that love for worldly items becomes so high you want it by hook or crook and both hooking and crooking are not allowed ,right? It’s not allowed. You can’t crook.

Let’s develop ourselves, many of us are lacking in character. We are Muslims; we’re an embarrassment to Islam a lot of the times. We.. our dealings are not honest and then we’re looking for happiness, sometimes the way we talk to people full of swear words, I promise you we can eradicate that, we can do without it. it doesn’t need to be there. you want a happy home, use respectful terms talk to people with love, with care, with respect in your home, listen to them, help them through their problems,

we want happiness we look… we’re searching for contentment, I promise you Islam has come with so much of ease, a lot of the people actually don’t follow it. They think they do. That’s why we say don’t judge a book by its cover.

Allah tests everyone with different types of tests. When Allah tests you with certain tests, it’s on your level; you’re going to need to ask yourself you know what? This is a test from Allah I need to pass it. It doesn’t mean because I look outwardly pious that suddenly I’m gonna pass all my tests then Shaytan attacks your heart by doing what: Messing it, becoming dirty. You start belittling people.

That’s why when you see a person who’s who’s really close to Allah, one of the clearest signs of the closeness to Allah is that your heart is softened. You feel mercy towards others, that’s from the Prophet Muhammad (saw),

It is because of the mercy of Allah that you are lenient towards everyone. You’re not hard-hearted. You’re not harsh. That’s the sign of the mercy of Allah when you are really close to Allah you become a soft person. In the sense that you care for others; You have mercy.
