How Your Will Heal From Your HeartBreak | Mufti Menk

Question: why is my heartbroken and how can you heal from my heartbreak or from the diseases of the heart over time

Remember, the One Who heals the heart is none other than the One Who made it. In fact, nobody, nothing, whether it is material or in the form of people, can ever heal your heart. The only one that will heal your heart is its Maker.

So the more you attach with your Maker, the better your heart shall be, the stronger it will be.

It will be healed not only from heartbreak, but from the diseases of the heart.

Indeed, Those who believe their hearts are comforted by the remembrance of Allah.

Chapter (13 :28) sūrat l-raʿd (The Thunder)

Go Easy On The People! Mufti Menk

When the same Nabi (Pbuh) of Allah is telling us, When the same Nabi (Pbuh) of Allah is telling us, Here we are mercilessly treating one another.

How quick are we to judge people? How quick are we to pass statements?

You don’t know what the person sitting next to you is going through.

If we had to write people off because of a sin they committed, we would all be written off without exception.

How The Sweetness Of Islam Gets Lost | Ustadh Ali Hammuda

Casualty of prohibited wealth in the life of a believer is your heart, the same way that certain foods are damaging to the physical heart.

There is a ‘raan’ / stain on their hearts because of what they used to do. So what happens as a result of such a covering?

Well, you fail to enjoy the sweetness of Islam. And you ask in desperation, what’s wrong with me?

And had your heart, had the ability to speak, it would say to you, to your prohibited wealth that’s suffocating me, to your money that’s suffocating me.

Is It Permissible To Put Makeup Or Not! Mufti Menk

If Allah gave you something, your identity, your looks, your height, perhaps your hair texture type, whatever it may be, love it. Love yourself how you are. It will help your heart solidify.

Love yourself how you are.

I love myself the way Allah made me

As soon as you learn to love yourself the way Allah made you, you are liberated.

I don’t need to fake it to be in the presence of someone else. I don’t.

This Will Happen To The Most Suffered Person On The Judgment Day! Abbas To Atheist | Speakers Corner

God forbid somebody going through that doesn’t mean God doesn’t exist. Doesn’t mean that the Quran is somehow false.

It just means that the mechanics of how everything works, we don’t understand.

Allah says, on the Day of Judgment, We will bring the person who has suffered the most in this world. In other words, throughout all of human history, this individual suffered more than anyone else, And We shall dip him for but a split second in paradise and question him did you suffer anything in this world?

And he will answer, I swear by you, my Lord, I have seen no suffering.

So Allah says that on that day, this world and what happened in this world will become inconsequential. It will not matter.

Allow Those Tears To Roll From The Great Reply Of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) | Mufti Menk

Allah Almighty knows that which is happening, that which happened, that which will happen, that’s the knowledge of Allah. But beyond that, that which will not happen, If it were to happen, how it would have happened is the knowledge of Allah.

Without the help of Allah, there’s never going to be any form of comforts. Allah alone will comfort you for your loss.

The Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) shed tears when Ibrahim, his son, passed away. So when the Sahaba / Companions (ra) and whom saw the tears, they questioned, what is this, subhanallah, as though you are not supposed to cry?

So it was quickly clarified these tears are not a sign of questioning Allah. These tears are not a sign of disagreeing with Allah. They are not a sign of being upset at Allah’s decrees (Qada’) and destiny (Qadr) but rather, these tears are a sign of the mercy that Allah puts in the hearts of those who are merciful to a degree.

Cry when you have to, cry when you need to, to cry when it’s about to come, when you hold back sometimes it’s not as good a feel as when you allow those tears to roll, allow those tears to roll. Allah created tear glands, and Allah gave them a purpose. And Allah allows them to be release when certain emotions happen to be up and down, it’s a human mechanism of coping.

Traumatic Experiences Don’t Negate God’s Existence! Abbas & Atheist | Speakers Corner

God says to you in the Quran that I have created the jinn and the human beings; and the spirits for no other reason but to worship Me. Now, the why He did that is a secondary point.

Did He actually say that? Did He actually do that? That’s what I’m worried about more.

Because if I don’t understand the why, it doesn’t change those two things initially. Me understanding the why or not understanding the why doesn’t change the reality or whether God created me for worship or not.

Tell Me More After Hearing The Verse Of Reflecting On Creation! Hashim & Atheist | Speakers Corner

We believe that we have something good and we like to share that. And for us, that is our faith, our religion, our love for God, and our love for you as a human being. That we want to see you with us in paradise after this life.

We will show them Our signs in the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. But is it not sufficient concerning your Lord that He is, over all things, a Witness? Verse (41:53)

Why Allah Tests Me A Bit More | Mufti Menk

When calamity strikes in your life and it has to strike at some point, the first thing a believer should do is connect to Allah.

Allah describes the believers and Allah says, those whom when calamity strikes, when difficulty and hardship befalls them, the first thing they say and they utter is ‘we belong to Allah and unto Him we shall all return.’

If you are content at calamity that struck you, inshallah, you’re a good person. But if you are struggling and you are really battling and it’s changed you in the negative way and it’s made you even worse, you have to look at yourself.

Ask yourself the first question have you ever harmed someone?
