Do you do believe there is a God or you’re not sure yet?

I can’t deny it but I don’t like….. He doesn’t come Hey, I exist. Then I don’t believe anyone until I don’t see Okay, so you only believe what you see.

 

Do you believe you possess or have or acknowledge that you have Consciousness?

We can actually…we roughly we can… so if you’re aware and your environments then you know, you’re conscious.

I’m going by your principal, because your principle is that if you don’t see God you won’t believe it. But in the case of your Consciousness you don’t see it but you still believe it. So you are failing your current your principal.

 

Have you noticed that you said I believe, I believe, I believe? This is Faith. What you believe without seeing..

If you can believe that you have Consciousness without any empirical evidence. So why don’t you believe God without empirical evidence?

When you see a truth you acknowledge it.

So for example, Consciousness is the one that enables you to ask me questions to use your faculties of reasoning and also to use your senses. This is the key.

There are places where science fails, there are limits to science. Science cannot measure in material things. It analyzes the material world.

So if anybody comes and tells me show me empirical evidence of God. You cannot even show empirical evidence of within your own self and let alone God.

Why do you believe it? Is it because I was born in a Muslim family? Maybe that’s the reason but also use my own faculties that God has given me to reason and come to the conclusion that all this, the universe did not create itself. It did not come from nothing. So what is the other alternative?

The question you asked…

if something created the universe what created that something?

So in both cases, the universe cannot be from nothing and it cannot be from itself.

Islam makes sense to us. it goes with our mind. It doesn’t contradict the mind. ..We don’t have a blind faith. We have the faith in Allah and in Islam on a base of clear Clarity and understanding.

What should you do when you are undecided in the perspective of Islam?  Well, you should pray istikhara.

the prophet (saw) in a Hadith that reported by Jabber (ra); He (peace be upon him) said if anyone of you has a serious concern on their mind meaning if you’re going to make a important decision about something then make istikhara and istikhara is to pray two special units meaning separate/ different not alongside any other prayer.

the short dua of istikhara

Transliteration
Allahuma khirli wakhtarli

O Allāh, grant me goodness, and choose for me.  (At-Tirmidhī)

The long dua of istikhara :

The method of istikhārah is to perform two rak’āt at any time of the day, other than the times when nafl salāh is forbidden. It is preferable to recite Sūrah Al-Kāfirūn in the first rak’ah and Sūrah Al-Ikhlās in the second. Thereafter one should praise Allāh ta’ālā, send salāh upon the Prophet sallallāhu ‘alayhi wasallam and then recite the following du’ā

Transliteration

Allāhumma innī astakhīruka biʿilmika wa astaqdiruka biqudratika, wa asʾaluka min faḍlika (a)l-ʿaẓīm fainnaka taqdiru walā aqdiru wa taʿlamu wala aʿlamu wa anta ʿallāmu (a)l-ghuyūb. Allāhumma, in kunta taʿlamu anna hadha (a)l-amra [mention decision here] khayrun lī fī dīnī wa maʿāshī waʿāqibati amrī faqdurhu lī wa ya (a)s-sirhu lī thumma barik lī fīhi. Wa in kunta taʿlamu anna hadha (a)l-amra sharrun lī fī dīnī wa maʿāshī wa ʿāqibati amri faṣrifhu ʿannī wa (a)ṣrifni ʿanhu waqdir lī(ya) (a)l-khayra haythu kāna thumma arḍīnī bihi.

O Allāh! I seek goodness from You, through Your Knowledge, and I seek strength through Your Power and ask for Your great Bounty, for You are able to do things while I am not, and You know while I do not; and You are the Knower of the Unseen. O Allāh, if You know that this matter [name your matter] is good for me, in respect to my Dīn, my worldly life and the consequence of my affairs, then decree it for me and make it easy for me, and then grant me barakah in it. And if You know that this matter [name your matter] is bad for me in respect to my Dīn, my worldly life and the consequence of my affairs, then turn it away from me and turn me away from it, and decree for me what is good, wherever it may be, and make me be pleased with it. (Al-Bukhārī)

 

Istikhara  is the idea of asking Allah for the best choice that is in front of you.

In fact the prophet (saw) said when any one of you is concerned about an issue i,e any issue, any significant decision in your life, you can make istikhara for.

istikhara doesn’t mean  that your choice that you make will be Problem free. That is just a false Understanding.

Do believe in the reality of the universe? So if I were to ask you where did this reality come from?

For so long a human being who is by nature curious. They will somehow ask questions and come to certain understanding. So in all your years of your life when you answer this question, what have you so far gathered from the research that you have done?

Let me ask you possible scenarios. Do you think it could have come from nothing, the universe?

But I would say no, you know, why? [Why] because nothing doesn’t even exist. If something doesn’t exist, how can it bring about something that does exist?

If you studied logic, then you will come to the conclusion that nothing doesn’t exist. Hence, it cannot bring about something.

In our universe which is real…how you perceive them, how do you understand their origin…

The Most basic understanding of our reality.

Basic understanding of our reality is that it didn’t exist by itself. The universe did not come by itself.

So any person and this goes for any atheist / any agnostic when they say I don’t know they are in no position to say somebody is right or something is wrong.

You cannot have something that is contradictory and you say I accept that without questioning it. That’s a reason as a Believer, you know, our book the Quran tells us to ponder over….

As a person who My Quran tells me to ponder on the signs, By the way, you know, the Quran doesn’t tell you not to use your intellect.  In fact, it encourages you to use it. So my Quran, my basis is quite logical and rational in that sense.

How will you understand the universe without rationality / without logic / without even thinking about it that God has given you intellect for you to think?

If you’re going to be a hyper skeptical about everything then even your existence, you have to question.

If the universe is not even sentient, it cannot create itself.

So if I were to ask you did you create yourself? Now I’m asking you the same concept apply to the universe. Can the universe create itself?

So first try to understand do I acknowledge and accept the reality in this world? Your purpose of the life is to acknowledge and to worship the one true God.

Everything that happens in the world affects us. Everything that strikes our ummah which is like one body affects us and Allah knows that if we were to try to dissect and try to address every one of those approaches we would fail every single time. When we talk about catastrophes and when we talk about the bombings and the horrible Things that are happening to people all over the world to our brothers and sisters all over the world.

It represents a concerning blueprints, A few of the brothers and sisters in France who say that, this is the worst that they have ever seen it in France.

We know the cycle and France in the name of superior values; You have a community that is targeted over and over again with various forms of policy and subjugation. Muslim women constantly harassed by government and Society; the stigmatization of the Muslim population.

Muslims, they’re saying now is worse than it has ever Been before that what they are witnessing, is reminiscent of the things that they read about the 20th century where you had the worst forms of casualties. You had the greatest number of casualties in a single Century in the history of mankind in the name of all sorts of ideologies, secular ideologies, Nazism, fascism, communism, And yes capitalism; all of these different isms that led to the murder of so many different people and subhanAllah, it’s reminiscent of that to them right now.

But in France dear brothers and sisters in the name of prescribed secularism, you literally have Liberal fascism and you have a man that the world needs to call upon right now and sanction and censure in macron who is no different from Modi in the way that he’s carrying out these policies.

What’s the difference between Modi creating a separate set of laws for Muslims in India and macron creating a separate set of laws in France. Where are the blueprints? Genocides are carried out in the name of assimilation.

This is what we have at this juncture. And it’s not it’s not Islam that has the problem. It’s France that has the problem and it’s the potential blueprint that creates around the world just like China and India have a connection, Myanmar has a connection, China tried to protect Myanmar and the United Nations from being charged with genocide.

the prophet salallahu alayhi wasalaam has been portrayed  in the worst of ways , insulted in the worst of ways, children subjected to that humiliation and reminded over and over and over again that they are lesser that they are to accept a second class level of existence in their societies and that insult that takes place in the in the types of policies that have targeted Muslim women over and Over and over again…

Where a person opens up their mouth against the islamophobia in France and their assaulted by the police in front of their families and handcuffed and taken away and humiliated because they dare to critique the islamophobia of France suddenly, all the values and all the freedom of speech goes out the window

you should not grieve or feel sadness as long as you are believers, you remain that status in that status of  being elevated by the only one who grants true elevation, And that is Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala

Ruling on rice vinegar, then somebody else asked about red wine vinegar and balsamic vinegar:

The Maliki Scholars and the Hanafi scholars, They say that vinegar doesn’t matter what source it came if it came from wine, if it came from dates, if it came from Rice.. This is… its all fine.

Because when it was …if it was wine in the middle, it gets changed over into another substance, which is vinegar which is pure and which is halal.

Wine vinegar, is it Halal? Is it okay to have in a salad?

So people sometimes ask about alcohol in sanitizers, alcohol in Perfumes and in some cosmetics and so on What about that? People are saying how could you have alcohol in Sanitizers and then read Salah? How could you have alcohol in your perfume and then read salah?

From those who enter Islam, leave Islam being upset and angry with Islam; does anyone do this? and abu sufian (ra) answered no, and abu sufian (ra) answered no, no one does this.

19 years flushes through his mind and he can’t find a single instance He can’t find one in 19 years. And that is exactly how eman works. If it enters and penetrates Into the Depths and inner corners of the heart…..

When this happens; there’s no way that anything except increasing eman can happen;  Love for that eman as sweetness that cannot be compared with anything such that people are willing to sacrifice everything for that faith.

And then add to this the statement of the Prophet salallahu alihi wasalam; whoever ever finds these three things. Then he will taste the sweetness of it.

If you’re sincere to those three things, you will taste that sweetness and live the reality that the sahaba (ra) were living in.

Every sunset, every week that passes every, month that passes, Every sunset, every week that passes every, month that passes, to hold yourself to account before you are held to account and it is a reminder and a symbol As Allah subhanaw taala said in the Quran everything upon the Earth will perish like this year has passed, like another day has passed.

The only thing that remains forever is the face of Our Lord, full of majesty and honour.

So this is an opportunity for us to remind ourselves of the temporary nature of life and the importance for all of us to make the most of this one opportunity We have to be in this Dunya and to leave a legacy.

So the only thing that will last the only thing that we will find with Allah subhanaw Taala are our Deeds. Before that day when we stand on the Day of Judgment I have to answer for our Deeds.

People Sometimes wrongly separate Islam into the rights of Allah and the rights of people. There are the rights of Allah which are directly fulfilled through our worship of Him and then there are the rights of Allah which are fulfilled through with other people.

So use this opportunity to set yourself some goals for the new Islamic year, moderate simple goals.

For the Muslim every day, every new day must be better than the day before.

So this year, this coming year what goals have you put for yourself? What aims and Ambitions have you put for yourself?

We as Muslims should be clear. The Palestine does not belong to the Palestinians. It doesn’t even belong to the Arabs. The land of Palestine is the land of the prophets/ Anbiya.

It is an Amana/ a trust which has been placed in the hands of the Muslim ummah to discharge for a period of time. It cannot be exchanged in return for favours because it is not owned by anybody.

It is an amana of the Muslim ummah given by Allah subhanaw Taala, particularly that land. So we have an important responsibility here to speak out against the oppression; The displacement, the apartheid which is happening To the Palestinian people in particular.

It is our responsibility to speak out against oppression wherever it is across the world the temporary political interest of certain leaders will never stop us doing that.

The Dua Of Prophet ﷺ On The Day Arafat | Keep Saying | Shaykh Abu Usamah At-Thahabi

The day of Arafah, which is the ninth day of dhul-hijjah. That’s one of the 10 days that some of the scholars said was the best day out of these 10 days because they have arafah.

The best dua that people made the prophets before Rasul’allah including the Rasulullah is that they used to say:

لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

Lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‘alā kulli shai’in qadīr.

None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs all that exists, and to Him is the praise, and He is powerful over all things

Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala has clearly told us that they are the best days of the year. Allah has sworn by the nights of these 10 days to show you the greatness of the days.

The day of arafah Allah rabbuna jalla jalaluhu descends to the last heavens and comes close to us and then he boasts about the people of arafah to to the people that are with Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala.
