Remove Hatred From Heart To Be Forgiven At The Blessed Night Of 15th Of Sha’ban | Important | Shaykh Omar Suleiman

Sha’ban in the Arabic language refers to anything that is placed between two significant things and so by virtue of the significance of the two things that’s placed between people lose sight of its importance and so Sha’ban being placed between Rajab and Ramadan like a valley … a valley separates two plots of land to significant pieces of land. So Sha’ban gets lost in between rajab and Ramadan and certainly that has spiritual significance as Well. from historical perspective Shaban is also the month in which ramadan was legislated. Allah (swt) revealed that the month of Ramadan is the month in which guidance was revealed to the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam. And in fact, of course the month of Revelation to all of the prophets of the past, before if you read surahtul Bakarah the verses of fasting were referring to …. to some specified days that were mandatory for the muslims and then once Ramadan came those days became … they became voluntary days of fasting.

so Sha’ban is virtuous in that the second year after Hijra The month of Ramadan was legislated in the month of Shaban and the second thing is that it’s the same month in which the Qibla was switched from Jerusalem to Mecca and that had an important significance on the …. that was very significant to the psyche of the Muslims that had just dealt with the Hijra. Just dealt With the migration and as they had left Mecca and long to Mecca, including the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam, Allah azzawajal turned their faces towards Mecca in a way that allowed them to connect in a beautiful way. So these two things happened in the first Sha’ban in the time of the Prophet (saw) with its spiritual significance.

So what are some of its virtues? number one It’s a month of fasting and typically people Lose sight of the fasting in this month because again, we’re thinking about Ramadan Ayesha (ra) she says that the prophet sallallahu wasallam used to fast until one would say that he would never stop fast and then he would have banned in fasting until one would say that he would never fast, meaning that generally speaking in the life of the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam, he would fast these long periods of time and you would think that he was never going to stop fasting and then as the prophet (saw) would not fast any of the voluntary days or any days outside of the periods of fasting to where he thought he would never fast against them. She says (ra) I never saw the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam fast and entire month outside of Ramadan and the prophet (saw) specifically expressed a love for fasting that month. It was a mohaba, it was a desire that he had to fast that month as an another narration, ayesha (ra) she said that the most beloved of months for the month in which the messenger of Allah Love To Fast more than anything else was Sha’ban indeed. He used to join it to Ramadan, now used to join its ramadan here means it was as if, it was as if it was connected to Ramadan, because of the amount of fasting that the prophet salallahu alihi wasalam would do in that month of Shaban.

So it was as if it was connected to ramadan as the prophet (saw) Continued from fasting the majority of the month of Shaban to fasting all of Ramadan. Now the question becomes why what is the wisdom? How much of Sha’ban should we fast? What are some other practices that we can take undertaking Sha’ban and what are some things that relate to us specifically in this time in the coronavirus era as where, you know, generally speaking quarantines and not able to go out and do the things that we would typically do. So the first thing we take is from A question that the prophet (saw) was asked directly about why he fasted Sha’ban so much and understanding the why of Shaban helps us understand how we should structure our fasting accordingly… Usama ibn Zayd (ra) He says that I asked the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam Why is it that you fast more in Shaban than any other month? I have seen you and you just you’re fasting this entire month it seems but though you’re practicing that you’re not preaching of its virtues to the companions. So why is it yeah Rasullah that you seemed to give this month so much importance and he said sallallahu wasallam that this is a month that people neglect between rajab and Ramadan, a month that most people have become heedless, people don’t recognize the importance of this month because it’s lost between rajab and Ramadan and he said salallahu alaihe wasalam, it is a month in which The actions are presented. The Deeds are presented to the lord of the worlds. So I love that my actions would be presented to the lord of the worlds while I am in a state of fasting. So this is a powerful Hadith and it gives us two layers to really unpack about the gems of this month of the Shaban , scholars mentioned that the times to compete for Allah’s pleasure most are the times in which Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala is most forgotten. The times that the . ….people of Excellence seek to compete for Allah’s pleasure to really stand out are the times that most people are neglectful of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala and his rights upon them. And so that’s when you compete for Allah’s pleasure, when everyone when everyone else is in is heedless. And so, you know, there are times when everyone is doing Ibadah, everyone is doing acts of worship and then there are times when most people are not and so that’s what makes For example the night prayers So special, most people are sleeping and there you are standing up in front of your lord and saying yeah Allah here I am presenting myself to you. And so these are the times most people do everything but ibadah, and so your Worship in these times in particular shows that you really want the pleasure of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala.***** mentions another wisdom of the fasting of Shaban. He said that one of the things that it does is that it takes away the hardship of fasting and leaves only the sweetness of it for the time of Ramadan. This is a beautiful thing. after the 15th of Shaban Now that Hadith is not as authentic but there is an authentic Hadith where the prophet (saw) do not proceed Ramadan with one or two days of Shaban exhausting. So don’t fast the last day or two meaning the 29th or the 30th. or the 28th and 29th of Sha’ban as you go into ramadan. Now this Hadith has to be reconciled with another Hadith where the Prophet (saw) asked ***** these days of Sha’ban, pick some days and fast in Sha’ban and make it a means of connecting to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala in a special way between you and him. the Fifteenth of Sha’ban What is the virtue of this night with there’s a narration, ibn Abbas (ra) frequently quoted it lailatul barat, the day that we are freed from the Hellfire, a very weak opinion by the way , Ikram (Rah) he said that it’s LLaylat al-Qadr that’s very weak because as we know that in the last 10 nights of Ramadan, but what is it about this night of the 15th of Shaban and how do we We observe it? the prophet salallahu Alihi wasalam, authentic narration the prophet (saw) said that Allah looks at his creation on the night of the 15th of Shaban and Allah forgives the entirety of his creation,

Allah forgives Everyone. Okay. Allah forgives the entirety of his creation except for a mushrik someone who Associates a partner with him. Okay, or ….. someone who has such … whose heart is consumed with enmity. So someone who’s holding a grudge another narration which mention someone who murdered someone. Okay, so a murderer and this is obviously the consequence …. of great hatred in the heart and the enmity in the heart of a person that he would actually take the life of someone else. So again on that night Allah looks at the entirety of his creation and he forgives everyone that does not associate a partner with him, that does not carry enmity towards their brother or sister, strong hatred and spite towards the brother or sister or a murderer on that night. Now, of course a murderer can be forgiven if they seek forgiveness from Allah, but this is just Allah’s beautiful General amnesty that he’s given on this night. Okay, the 15th of Shaban. This is beautiful for many reasons. And also it has a direct call to action for us. The first thing is that if the prophet (saw) said that this is the month …. that the actions are presented to Allah and this is the particular night that Allah looks at those deeds and Allah subhana Allah forgives all of them. He cleans your record as you go into Ramadan. Okay, he cleans your record as you go into ramadan So you’re granted this amnesty. now approach ramadan without the burden of your sins. But with the longing of your creator, longing for Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala because your lord is so merciful that in this month before halfway through shaaban. He looks at the creation and he forgives the entire creation so long as there’s no shirk, hatred or murderer , okay. So no Polytheism or enmity or murder? alright? So what’s the call to action here? You know if you’re trying to prepare yourself for Ramadan, there’s the preparation with the recitation of the Quran.

There’s the preparation with the fasting but what about preparing the heart. nothing consumes the hearts and distracts it from Allah subhanaw Taala, like a grudge. Okay. Shahana is one you have an obsession. with someone okay, you hate someone so much that your heart is consumed by the enmity and this is directly connected by the way to the other form of presenting the Deeds which is the prophet (saw) said every Monday and Thursday when the Deeds are presented to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala, Allah forgives the people except for two brothers or sisters that are quarrelling and Allah Subhan Allah says Leave these two until they solve their Grudge, leave these two until they remove their Grudge. And so this is the annual night that Allah subhanaw Taala would look at the creation. Allah (swt) would forgive everyone without shirk or enmity or murder. This is the time to really really think deeply is that Grudge worth me missing out on this incredible reward right? Do I really want my deed Not be presented to Allah and to be amongst those people who are not forgiven by Allah subhanaw Taala on that night, is my hatred of that person worth me sacrificing the love of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala and so seek forgiveness from people. If you’ve hurt someone suck it up, remove your ego, call them seek forgiveness. Okay remove that Grudge, ask Allah (swt) to forgive the one that hurt you as much as you can do not keep anything in your hearts of hatred Or a grudge for Envy because that

will directly stand in the way of you receiving the reward of this blessed night of the 15th of Sha’ban. So that Hadith is authentic and just like you’re preparing your tongue with the recitation of the Quran, you’re preparing your body with fasting, you’re preparing your soul with the remembrance of Allah, you prepare your heart by removing that Grudge in sha Allah Taala, removing that hatred that you have of your brother or sister in sha Allah so that you can Clear the way for the Quran to consume your heart for Ramadan and for Allah subhanawTaala to be the full focus of your thoughts and attention during the month of Ramadan and Beyond now, how do we mark this night? Is there a special practice to mark this night? fasting the 15th of Shaban is established not just because or not even if it’s not because of fasting the 15th of Shaban as the 15th of Shaban, fasting the 15th of every month the 13th, 14th and 15th of every month is sunnah Okay, so fasting the 13th 14th and 15th, which are …. the white days because the Moon is fullest, the Thirteenth Fourteenth and fifteen, the Bright Days, fast those days

anyway, so yes by all means it is Sunnah, so fast the 15th of Shaban as part of the understanding of that Hadith of the Prophet (saw) how else do we mark this night? You’ll read the books of shafi………. (rah) So many other Scholars who wrote about the general observance of this night, so obviously if it’s a night Allah (Swt) has marked as a night that he forgives the entirety of his creation so long as they so long as they do not have polytheism or a or enmity or or murder standing in the way then obviously you want to be up Qiyāmul Layl reciting the Quran, remembering Allah (swt) However, if you don’t find any Hadith that talk about specifically ibadah, okay to talk about specific acts of worship just the general idea that this is a night that is to be observed. How You observe it? observe with the way that you’d observe any other night, but obviously with the knowledge of that beautiful time that Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala .. will forgive us for all of our sins on that night …. yes by all means a night of prayer, a night of recitation, a night of night of remembrance to recite a thousand kuls or to pray these many rakats or you’ll find a lot of things that get passed around to recite on lailatul barat just avoid that and just wake up, pray, read, fast the day inshallah tala because that’s something that’s established. And again more than anything else prepare your heart by removing the grudges from it, forgiving people and if you can’t find reason to forgive them for them then forgiving them for yourself, allowing To be a chance for us to not be to not be barricaded from Allah subhanaw Taala, but allowing the chance to forgive them, allowing us the chance to forgive them so that we can find that peace within ourselves and find that reward with Allah (swt) the famous story that we reflected on with Abu Bakr as-siddiq. Radiyaallahu ta’ala anhu some time ago Let them forgive and pardon, don’t you want Allah subhanaw Taala to forgive you as Well, don’t you want Allah (swt) pardons you as well? And that was with the man who had slandered his daughter and Allah (swt) is telling Abu Bakr as-siddiq Radiyaallahu ta’ala. that it’s not about him. It’s about you and what you want from Allah subhanaw taala, and so opening your hearts by removing the distraction of all else so that your heart can properly love Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala so that you can properly heal so that you can stay focused and not be distracted by those grudges not be distracted. By that hatred, not be obsessed You know I get this question. Sometimes is it okay to make dua against someone and…. the prophet (saw) said the supplication of the oppressed has no barrier between in Allah (swt), so the answer is yes. If you’ve been wronged you can make duas against the person that’s wronged you and no one can remove that from them of the muzlum, Tell the one that suppressed. Don’t make dua against the one that’s wrong too. But one thing that I do say is don’t waste all of your Dua against the one that wronged you or else you’re wrong and yourself by not spending your supplication properly. This is a chance to get close to Allah. You have a lot to talk to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala about, you have a lot to remove from your own record. You have a lot to aim for, you have a lot to strive for, so taking the time out to say, you know, what if I can’t find any reason to move on from this, from that person side.. I’m going to move on or from it for myself. And so that I can seek that elevation with my Lord that elevation status that peace of mind, that purity of heart so I can focus on doing what’s important and I can focus on making the strides necessary for my own betterment and for my own akirah, for my own here after, especially with the coronavirus and the you know, this pandemic going around, You have to think about how quickly things are unfolding right now and death is always imminent, whether there’s a pandemic going around or not. Each one of us is always threatened by death at every moment of Our Lives. It’s unpredictable and it could take any one of us and so many people died with unresolved disputes, with unresolved grudges and having let those things consume them. never having the had the opportunity to reconcile. In fact so many people let others die without having that chance to reconcile with them and then live the rest of their lives with regret for not having taken that step to just say, you know what it’s not worth it. I’m going to put this behind me and I’m going to move on for the sake of Allah subhanaw taala. And so it’s a very simple reflection. But as I’ve said in a previous video, you know, holding a grudge is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die. Especially true when it comes to the reward of Allah that’s being presented to us right now, in Sha’ban is compounded by the pandemic of the coronavirus and how quickly things are unfolding, take that time Even if it’s someone you know that you’ve had a grudge with for a long time take that time to say, you know, what I’m going to be the person to remove that and even if the circumstances don’t allow, even if that person is not going to want to move on, my hand is extended, right? my heart is Open to forgiveness and moving on, no matter who it is. No matter what it is. So yes, if there was any time for us to squash Muslim social media drama, It’s now but more importantly if there was any time for us to squash The Grudges and our lives the disputes in our lives the …you know, even even if they’ve been in the background for a long time Now’s the Time For Us inshaallah time to really think about doing that so may Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala allow us all to to be able to do that and to Move on and again that doesn’t mean relinquishing your claims, that doesn’t mean relinquishing your rights by any means what that means is moving on for your sake so that Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala could show you that forgiveness in that Mercy as well. And especially with people that we love that we had disputes with. it’s important for us to put that behind us, Inshaallah. We don’t want to have the regrets after they’ve passed away or let them have their grid after we passed away and then the only time that that gets resolved is In the presence of Allah (swt). Now’s the Time the 15th of Shaban is upon us. If we even live to see that to clear our hearts for Ramadan so that we can be prepared for. if we even live to see that and if we don’t then it’s still time inshallah tala because tonight might be our last night, tomorrow might be our last day, no grudges worth missing out on the Forgiveness of Allah subhanaw Taala, or leaving something in the background that distracts and pulls all of us away. So may Allah (swt) forgive all of us for The wrongdoings that we’ve committed against others and may Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala heal us with the wrongdoings that were committed against us May Allah (swt) allow us to collectively remain focused on him and connect to him and to pull one another up for the sake of Allah (swt) May Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala allow our hearts to be …. to be free of those things, free of those flaws, free of that hatred free of those impurities as we approach the month of Sha’ban, may Allah subhanaw taala prepare our hearts for the month of Ramadan by conditioning them properly in the month of Shaban allahumma. Ameen.Sha’ban in the Arabic language refers to anything that is placed between two significant things and so by virtue of the significance of the two things that’s placed between people lose sight of its importance and so Sha’ban being placed between Rajab and Ramadan like a valley … a valley separates two plots of land to significant pieces of land. Radiyaallahu ta’ala anhu some time ago Let them

forgive and pardon, don’t you want Allah subhanaw Taala to forgive you as Well, don’t you want Allah (swt) pardons you as well?

If we even live to see that to clear our hearts for Ramadan so that we can be prepared for. if we even live to see that and if we don’t then it’s still time inshallah tala because tonight might be our last night, tomorrow might be our last day, no grudges worth missing

out on the Forgiveness of Allah subhanaw Taala, or leaving something in the background that distracts and pulls all of us away. So Sha’ban gets lost in between rajab and Ramadan and certainly that has spiritual significance as Well. from historical perspective Shaban is also the month in which ramadan was l

egislated. Allah (swt) revealed that the month of Ramadan is the month in which guidance was revealed to the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam. And in fact, of course the month of Revelation to all of the prophets of the past, before if you read surahtul Bakarah the verses of fasting were referring to …. to some specified days that were mandatory for the muslims and then once Ramadan came those days became … they became voluntary days of fasting. so Sha’ban is virtuous in that the second year after Hijra The month of Ramadan was legislated in the month of Shaban and the second thing is that it’s the same month in which the Qibla was switched from Jerusalem to Mecca and that had an important significance on the …. that was very

significant to the psyche of the Muslims that had just dealt with the Hijra. So what are some of its virtues? number one It’s a month of fasting and typically people Lose sight of the fasting in this month because again,

we’re thinking about Ramadan Ayesha (ra) she says that the prophet sallallahu wasallam used to fast until one would say that he would never stop fast and then he would have banned in fasting until one would say that he would never fast, meaning that generally speaking in the life of the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam, he would fast these long periods of time and you w

ould think that he was never going to stop fasting and then as the prophet (saw) would not fast any of the voluntary days or any days outside of the periods of fasting to where he thought he would never fast against them. Now this Hadith has to be reconciled with another Hadith where the Prophet (saw) asked ***** these days of Sha’ban, pick some days and fast in Sha’ban and make it a means of connecting to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala in a special way between you and him. the Fifteenth of Sha’ban What is the virtue of this night with there’s a narration, ibn Abbas (ra) frequently quoted it lailatul barat, the day that we are freed from the Hellfire, a very weak opinion by the way , Ikram (Rah) he said that it’s LLaylat al-Qadr that’s very weak because as we know that in the last 10 nights of Ramadan, but what is it about this night of the 15th of Shaban and how do we We observe it? the prophet salallahu Alihi wasalam, authentic narration the prophet (saw) said that Allah looks at his creation on the night of the 15th of Shaban and Allah forgives the entirety of his creation, Allah forgives Everyone. Okay remove that Grudge, ask Allah (swt) to forgive the one that hurt you as much as you can do not keep anything in your hearts of hatred Or a grudge for Envy because that will directly stand in the way of you receiving the reward of this blessed night of the 15th of Sha’ban. Is there a special practice to mark this night? fasting the 15th of Shaban is established not just because or not even if it’s not because of fasting the 15th of Shaban as the 15th of Shaban, fasting the 15th of every month the 13th, 14th and 15th of every month is sunnah Okay, so fasting the 13th 14th and 15th, which are …. the white days because the Moon is fullest, the Thirteenth Fourteenth and fifteen, the Bright Days, fast those days anyway, so yes by all means it is Sunnah, so fast the 15th of Shaban as part of the understanding of that Hadith of the Prophet (saw) how else do we mark this night? What Allah Loves The Most And Displeases Him Special Thanks Go To All Key Workers | Mufti Menk

I want to tell you not to panic, don’t worry. things will be fine. If you look at the percentage of deaths, it’s actually very small compared to those affected. So what we need to do is we need to make the most of this time to turn to the almighty in every way. What is it that actually pleases Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala? to be honest, in a Hadith qudsi He tells us what He loves the most and there he says there is nothing more loved to me than that Which I made compulsory.

So it’s obvious from that that he only made it compulsory because he loves it. So if you want the love of Allah and you would like to earn the pleasure of Allah something you need to do is fulfill that which is obligatory compulsory in terms of your five daily prayers especially, so if something is compulsory and Allah has made it compulsory fulfill it. You will earn his pleasure when you do it, do it properly do it. because You want to do it, do it because you enjoy it. Take your time.

Don’t cut Corners, the same would apply, the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam tells us in that narration that thereafter once the obligations are done a worshipper continues to engage in that which is voluntary but recommended in terms of Sunnah or nafal in the Arabic language and they would gain even more closeness to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala. similarly What would displease Allah is to engage in that which is Haram. So we need to make sure we talk properly, We use our time properly, many people unfortunately are using their time very destructively online. They are recording themselves in an inappropriate way and posting it up. They are visiting sites, They’re not supposed to, this might be, might be in the case of some, the last few days of yours on Earth Is that how you want to spend them?

I think it’s important to remind each other as much as there is hope that we would perhaps most of us survive and I pray that all of us survived but that having been said you and I know the reality is people are going and Allah alone knows who’s going to go? don’t spend the last few days or the days of hardship in a way that you’re earning even more of the … or the displeasure of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala to say the least. This is just a short message.

I thought I’d share with you to encourage myself and yourselves. To take a moment to fulfill that which is compulsory properly, enjoy it and then don’t do that which is destructive of that which will earn the displeasure of Allah. may Allah make it easy for everyone of us. This is just sincere sound advice from your brother. It starts off with myself And then for every one of us, I really pray for those who have put their lives at risk to serve others. There are so many more, thanking the doctors and those on the front line and so many others have messaged me to say there Are people who are helping the elderly, there are drivers. There are public workers, There are so many who are still out there, risking their lives many of you have stayed away from home, many of you have long shifts, many of you are very tired, exhausted and I’ve been reading so many stories. Congratulations. We have no words to describe the brilliant work that you’re doing. this goes to all the staff, the emergency staff, the doctors, the surgeons, the nurses, the helpers ,everyone there are so many out there whom we may not even know. may Allah bless you. We’re really praying for you. And we consider you the true heroes and heroines of this particular struggle against coronavirus covid-19. Please don’t give up. may Allah bless you all and Grant you a beautiful recompense.

Say These Powerful Words Before You Sleep To Increase In Strength And Sustenance | Taught By The Prophet (ﷺ) | Shaykh Omar Suleiman

People come to the prophet (saw) and say who do you love the most? and can you imagine Ali and Fatima (ra) asking the prophet (saw) which of us to do you love more? but now it’s Ali and Fatima (ra) asking the prophet (saw) by the way, who Do You Love More? What do you think the answer of the prophet (saw) was? both… the prophet (saw) had the most eloquent answer. First of all the prophet (saw) can’t lie. Alright. his heart is attached to fatima (Ra) He loves fatima (Ra) and fatima (Ra) was very special to him. But at the same time he doesn’t want to answer that question in a way that would hurt Ali (ra) Who he also raised like his own son. Right? And he loved Ali (ra) like his own son. He’s a son, he’s his cousin.

He’s his brother in Medina. He’s so much to him. So they asked the prophet (saw) Which of us two is more beloved to you? So he looked at Ali (ra) and he said she is more beloved to me than you but you are more precious to me than her. So he gave them an answer that they could both take some pride in right? of course, there are certain connotations to that what he means by that and you are more beloved to me o Fatima because the prophet (saw) truly loved her that much, now the first problem that arises in this marriage: Is not that they had an argument, it’s not that they… the poverty got to them. It’s the distance from the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam Once they got married, realized they were poor, they were distant from the messenger Sallallahu wasallam, their home was far away and they felt a distance from him. Fatima (Ra) grew up as the daughter and then ….. the mother of her father , of the prophet (saw), Ali (ra) also felt the distance from the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam, and if you look at an old map of Medina, you’ll That the …. the apartment of the Prophet (saw) if you will the small homes of the Prophet (saw) where you would see his grave now, so his…. where his grave is actually the room of who? the appartment of Ayesha (ra) that’s where the home of the prophet (Saw) and ayesha (Ra) was and then you you have these small homes that run to the left side of the Masjid, right?

And they run two by two, taking up that That area and the house was far away from the prophet (saw) house. Now all of the homes of the prophet (Saw) actually belonged or were built on the land of one man. And his name was… and his name doesn’t come up. I’m not even going to bother asking if someone knows that MashaAllah, but it’s a very hard name to find. His name is Haritha Ibn an-Nu`man’ (Ra) Haritha Ibn an-Nu`man’…. He’s not that well known from the companions, but he owned a huge piece of land. Next to the area of the Masjid. So whenever the prophet (saw) would get married. He’d give him a new extension of the land so that the prophet (saw) could have a home there. So when Ali and Fatima (ra) got married the prophet (saw) was too embarrassed to ask Haritha (ra) for more lands so that he could have a home for fatima and ali (Ra) close to him. So Haritha (Ra) saw in the prophet (saw) one day, some sort of emotion some longing, so he said to him do you miss your daughter Fatima (ra) and the prophet (saw) said yes, and he knew what he was indicating. He said that I was too embarrassed to ask you because you’ve already given us so much. so, how are this is the humility of the prophet (saw) he could snap his finger and everyone will throw everything at him, right? But he doesn’t want to take advantage of the kindness of Haritha, so he said I didn’t want to ask you for more and Haritha said by Allah the land that I give to you is more beloved to me than the land that I keep with me. I love giving you lands, you could take all the properties that you want. It’s okay. So he told the prophet (Saw) why don’t you take this piece of land which is right across from your house with ayesa (Ra)? Okay. So why don’t you take that piece of land right across from your house with ayesa (ra) So the prophet (saw) smiled and he made Dua for him.

He prayed for him that Allah would give him a palace in Paradise. So fatima and Ali (ra)’s home was then built. adjacent to the house of the prophet (saw) and ayesa (ra) in fact, the only window that you have in those small. If you look at the models of how those homes were built. It was only one window, the window of ayesa (ra) and the window of Fatima (ra) were facing each other, right? So it’s very close to the house of the Prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam, so they moved close to him, but then you had the problem of poverty. As I mentioned in the story of Ali (ra) and Ali (Ra) was always poor, always in poverty, right his whole life is defined by intense poverty and the prophet (saw) himself lived in great poverty. So it’s not like the prophet (saw) made it and then left his daughter in poverty, no, the prophet (saw) himself was in deep poverty until the day of his death, right? the prophet (saw) never moved into a palace. He never ate more than a meal a day and it was usually just some dates and water. Prophet (saw) was in poverty. So Ali and fatima (ra) reached the point of extreme poverty and Ali (Ra) developed back pain and fatima (Ra) developed blisters in her hands because of the amount of work that they had to do just to stay afloat and she was exhausted. And Ali (ra) said to Fatima radiyaallahu ana why don’t you ask the prophet (saw) if he could provide a khadem.. a servant. And a maid, someone help out in the home and fatima (Ra) said that I’m too embarrassed to ask him. Ali (Ra) said why don’t you just go and just inquire just see if the prophet (saw), you know the prophet (saw) had high emotional intelligence, he could tell what his daughter would want or.. you know, and he would be able to read it and prophet (saw) would likely as we know his character would likely go ahead and say Yes fine, you know, here you go and so fatima (ra) went to the house of the the prophet (saw) after Salatul fajr, after the fajr prayer, the next day and found the Aisha may Allah be pleased with her and inquired about the prophet (saw) and ayesa (ra) said that the prophet (Saw) had not come home yet. So he was still in the Masjid doing, remembrance… He was praying, he was remembering Allah. He was supplicating, as he would do for a long time after the morning prayer after fajr up until the time of sunrise. So she went home, now on the prophet (saw) came home, Ayesa (Ra) told the prophet (saw) that fatima came looking for you today. prophet (saw) immediately went to the house and he knocked the door and Ali (Ra) man, who is it?

So the prophet (saw) said, that it’s it’s me. Ali (Ra) said ya rasulallah … He said o messenger of Allah wait, they wanted to get the house ready. It was nighttime. Okay, and they wanted to get the house ready and you know be a little bit more presentable, right? when the messenger of God comes to the home. the prophet (saw) said he said just stay as you are, stay seated as you are. Now, if you remember last week the house of Ali and Fatima (ra) had one bed. It was also their couch. It was also where they fed their animals from, so they literally sat up on the bed and the prophet (saw) said don’t get up just stay right there and it was a cold night. Okay, so the prophet (saw)…..they were kind of wrapped in the blanket. the prophet (saw) went Inside and he sat between them and he looked at Fatima (ra) and he said yeah fatima and she said yes o messenger of God. He said did you come looking for me today? So she said yes, oh my father. he said fatima what is it that you’re asking for?

Oh Fatima, what caused you to inquire? So she said to the messenger of Allah sallallahu alaihi wasallam that I heard that maybe you had a servant or a maid or someone that could help me. Maybe there was someone that could help me because it becomes difficult in the home. the prophet (saw) said who told you that there might be some servants or there might be a maid or someone to be able to help you out. She didn’t want to throw Ali (ra) under the bus because Ali (Ra) was the one that told her that I think that he might… he might be able to provide a servant or a maid or khadem to help you.

So she just said someone told me. so the prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam said shall I not o Fatima shall I not give you something that is greater, that is more beneficial than a servant or maid to assist. So they both said of course, now the thinking was that maybe he’s going to give you know, he’s going to.. he’s going to find a way to have multiple needs or multiple servants to help them out. the prophet (saw) is about to make the situation really good for them. Right? the prophet sallallahu wasallam instead said when you go to sleep say subhanallah 33 times, just to glorify God so say subhanallah 33 times, say alhamdulillah, 33 times meaning praise Allah 33 times and say Allahu Akbar 34 times. Okay that God is greatest 34 times. So glorify him 33 times, praise him 33 times and declare his greatness 34 times, which would make a hundred. They said … Allah will do that yeah rasulullah and then they said well and also…. is there a servant the prophet (saw) said and this is powerful because it shows you the ethics and the Integrity Of the prophet (saw). He said I can’t give you a khadem (servant) I can’t provide a servant for you and leave the people of .. which were the homeless people that slept in the Masjid. Okay, So the majid had homeless people …… for the people that slept in the back of the masjid. He said I can’t leave them and the orphans from the Battle of Badr empty-handed. Okay, so they were orphans from the battle, prophet (saw) that I can’t give them, I can’t.. I can’t help you and then leave them in their way, but the prophet (saw) said if you say the these words every night before you sleep Allah will provide for you in ways that are far greater than anything that you’re asking for. Ali (ra) said that I never missed there was not a single night, a single night that I did not say those words after that, subhanallah 33 times, Alhumdillah 33 times, Allah Akbar 34 times and he said I swear by Allah that we were increased in strength and sustenance and we never felt like we needed a khadem or needed a maid or a servant after that that Allah I had enriched us in this situation or gave us the strength so that we didn’t need anything after that.

It’s Time Of Sharing And Caring Not Making Money Out Of This Situation The Wonder Of Black Seed Oil | Mufti Menk

Hope you guys are well. I thought I’d just give you a quick message to say I’m doing fine, Masha Allah. Hope everyone else is fine. And Alhumdillah, today I just want to say something very very quick, my brothers and sisters, It’s not the end of the world that they will be a lot that’s going to happen. But everyone, mashallah, this is the time not of making money. This is the time of reaching out to others with whatever money you’ve made all along. This is the the time of not saying them and us, it is all of us. We’re all together. If this is not the time of differences, this is the time of unity. This is the time of sticking together. This is the time of being very very strong.

This is the time of loving, loving for the sake of the almighty. reach out to humankind. This is the time when the real you has to show up. It’s not going to be about you or me. It’s about us honestly and this’s why don’t try and make money out of this situation because you are going to be in the same predicament and you don’t want someone to make money out of you. Remember that so people are charging an arm and a leg for basic necessities. I think in many countries that’s illegal, but from an ethical perspective, it’s also illegal. Ethically it’s wrong. So remember my brothers and sisters don’t abuse a situation like this. You have to come up and for the sake of the Almighty. Reach out to others. the wealthiest of the wealthy are helpless. the most powerful of the powerful are helpless.

The most famous of all are totally helpless, those who are the most beautiful and pretty of all are helpless. Those who have the best jobs are helpless. They are equal in the same line as the homeless subhanallah. So let’s reach out to everyone and remember if you’ve made a lot of money, this is your time to give back that money. What are you going to do with Millions? if you’re going to die in the next two weeks, you’d rather use that money to save so many lives by the will of Allah. He will save your life subhanallah. So remember this my brothers and sisters, it is not a time of panic, we will get over this by the will of Allah but the next few weeks perhaps into a few months. It’s going to be very different, be strict. Remember to be patient. Remember to be kind, you know, there are people who are hand-to-mouth earning every day and that brings them there. Plate of food. What about them? reach out to them. I was so impressed when I watched not just my Lahore in the UK giving food to the homeless, but so many others and I’ve seen so much giving you know, giving. it’s a time of giving it’s not a time of making money.

This is not the time to milk money from the people. It’s a time to give money back, the big companies, the big people those who are wealthy businessmen. It’s your time to give back to society and Community to reach out to those who are really going. Struggle the homeless. If you have people renting your facilities be relaxed. Don’t let them worry about the rentals. Don’t let them worry about things, Allah will help you, Allah open your doors when you reach out to others and make it easy on them. Give them perhaps a month or two Grace. What are you going to lose? Nothing poor people are actually worried. They earn a salary. They have to buy the food. They have to buy so much. They have to pay rentals. They have to pay bills even countries and even Huge parastatals and various other companies that are providing Essentials, like electricity and water and whatever else, I really feel that a message should go out to them to say this is the time to be very very kind and to reach out to others to give them Grace give them Grace. You know, why? humanity is in it together.

It’s not about Muslims or Jews or Christians or anyone else or Hindus or Buddhists or whoever it is about Humanity. This is about Humanity. show that you’re a human being before anything else and show that you’re a Muslim, show that you are a Believer, you believe we’re all in it together. You need to reach out to people. if you don’t at a time like this, trust me, you’re really not fulfilling your duty that you’re supposed to have on Earth because like I said, if if you’re ripping people off during their time of need you are going to have a time of need very very soon and with your billions. You won’t receive the help of the almighty, the almighty says to us through the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him that the assistance of the almighty will continue to be with someone for as long as that person is busy helping another. So if you’ve made your money, it’s the time to reach out reach out to those who work for you, those who work with you, those others who are in need.

Like I said those who are wealthy, those who are landlords. be very very kindest. This is not the time to go and demand to go and make issue and so on give people reprieve, give them time give them a little bit of leeway. Subhanallah. We’re in it together my brothers and sisters if you have something share it with someone, this is the time of sharing, this is the time of caring, if something has worked with you then share it with others. I want to share with you something very interesting a few days ago like about four, five days ago and subhanallah. I want to share with you something interesting about four, five days ago. I said that I had a scratch in my throat, some of you remember that and you know, what some people misunderstood it to say. The man has covid, the man is dying. The man is in ICU, some said he has died already and so on that’s all incorrect. All of it is just tale, Subhan Allah. I want to tell you something, there is something called the black seed oil that works wonders, a quarter. Teaspoon 1/2 a spoon last thing at night. Let it go into your throat , you can actually swallow it. And it will have a biting feeling at the back of your throat as you lie down for about 10 minutes after which you can have a bit of hot water that last thing at night first thing in the morning. Some people cannot take half a spoon. It’s a bit too hot for them. You know, it has an after effect maybe but when I tried it that days trust me in my throat the scratch had gone. Well, I’m sure it’s the prayers of all those who thought I was dead. May Allah bless you all together with hot water a bit of vitamin D, have some vitamin C, have a bit of of protein, have a bit of zinc. Whatever you can, eat healthy exercise. Look, I’ve got a little yard.

I’m going to move my head to show you the back is very it’s not so big. It’s very small. But mashallah. This is where my kids would actually spend some time. We’re fortunate. There is an enclosure. We’re much more fortunate than the First World countries who live in high-rise buildings those who live in high-rise buildings who only have a balcony we in Africa have and not only Africa in some parts of the third world. We have much more space we have And imagine it’s amazing. It’s a gift of the almighty when Allah takes one thing away from you. He’s given you other things. He’s given the first world so much.

He’s given the third world some other things a different type of so much but it’s a matter of being able to look at it. We are all blessed. The almighty has blessed us. Like I said, we’re going to come out of this by the will of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala, my brother’s my sister’s so I shared with you the black seed oil that doesn’t mean I’m sick at all, please but I’m sharing it with you because I love you, I care for you, if something’s worked for me or for Anyone else? I’m going to tell you how and what it was, you know, don’t drink cold drinks at all everything you drink should be warm preferably. If not warm than at least room temperature. Remember that, you know, the some people have told me that the steaming they’re faced with boiling water sometimes with oil with Menthol or Vic’s or something in there has really helped them subhanallah. So that’s something you can go by, let everyone benefit from it. A lot of people are sitting in lockdown. A lot of people are sitting in SelfIsolation Nation a lot of people might be in quarantine, whatever you’re in I pray that Allah has mercy on you. It’s not going to kill the whole world. It’s not the end of the world. Like I said yesterday we are we are worried and concerned about the elderly from amongst us. We are concerned about those who have a an immune system. That’s not as strong from amongst us.

That’s what we are more concerned about. My brothers, my sisters. I’m so happy to be able to speak to you and to share with you a point of benefit, at least the Almighty I asked him to bless me and bless every one of you has given me this chance. He’s the one who’s given me this chance of sharing a bit of goodness. So at least if I’m helping you, he’s going to help me, right? That’s how it goes. Once again, those who are wealthy. It’s not the time to make money. It’s a time to give, it’s a time to share. It’s a time to think about others. Think about those in a worse position than you, you know, some of the medications that were announced somewhere here and there, the some of the malaria tablets and whatever people said may work or may not work in some countries, they are charging an arm and a leg for it and it’s something.. in a lot of countries. It’s not even available, in my country I don’t think that we are even ready for the first patient. May Allah make it easy for us and for everyone but at the same time, I do have hope in the mercy of Allah and we’re in it together. Like I said, it’s not about who you know me or whatever… It’s about us as Humanity, every one of you, we care for everyone. Please be safe and I pray that the almighty bless you

The Best Quranic Dua For Istighfar (Asking Forgiveness) In Such Times | Qari Ashikul Islam

A very Powerful Quranic Dua / supplication For Istighfar (the act of seeking forgiveness from Allah) made the prophet Adam (A.S) to get Allah’s mercy to get rid of any type of danger, calamity, problem, etc.

The dua which Allah taught Prophet Adam (A.S) for asking forgiveness is given in the following: رَبَّنَا ظَلَمْنَا أَنفُسَنَا وَإِن لَّمْ تَغْفِرْ لَنَا وَتَرْحَمْنَا لَنَكُونَنَّ مِنَ الْخَاسِرِينَ Rabbana thalamna anfusana wain lam taghfir lana watarhamna lanakoonanna mina alkhasireena “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.” Al-Qur’an, 007.023 (Al-Araf [The Heights])

How Relief Comes From Any Difficulty | Whenever A Calamity happens | Mufti Menk

The benefit of seeking the Forgiveness of Allah during times of this nature, people might say why should I seek the Forgiveness of Allah, is it a punishment? well, I want to tell you even if it were, even if it were Allah says in the Quran, Allah will not punish them while they are seeking forgiveness. So if you are seeking forgiveness, the punishment will not come and if you think there was punishment when a person begins to seek forgiveness, it is converted into a blessing of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala, like I said earlier, it’s wrong for us to say something is a punishment or not when we cannot know except through Revelation if something was definitely a punishment but a simple test is anything that brings you closer to Allah is not a punishment. anything that has distanced you from Allah makes you upset and angry and question Allah that may well just be a punishment of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala.

similarly, whenever a Calamity happens, ask yourself Am I involved in sin and am I involved That which is immoral and acceptable? Am I involved in that which is you know, have I usurped the wealth of others? Am I doing that which is unacceptable? Am I abandoning my prayers? Am I doing something that would be displeasing to Allah? you just ask yourself those questions. There’s no harm. In fact, it can only be benefit and we need to turn to Allah. really we need to pray to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala. imagine, People did not use to go to the Masjid, now in the masjids in many places are minimizing and actually suspending congregational activities. People are up in arms, but you are the same people who never came to the Masjid. And today you’re up in arms. I pray that that is life-changing in the sense that we realize the value of the Masjid so that once this temporary measure is lifted, We will be flocking to the Masjid and we will be cherishing the favor of Allah that we have these massajids. I repeat those who have become passionate about This you know this issue and they are so upset sometimes sometimes they are the ones who are guilty of not ever making use of the Masjid in the correct way. Look at Salahtul fajr, We have a few people, look at zahr.. We only have a few, look at asr We have very few, magrib and Esa, in some places a little bit better,

but my brothers and sisters we can do much better when it comes to praying to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala, you know, people abandoned the modest dress and what happened? They became from among those who perhaps in some places were banned from some of it. We don’t want that to happen my brothers and sisters to us. We don’t want to realize when it’s too late the value of something. It happens. Even in marriage, a person does not appreciate his or her spouse and once the divorce happens, then they say to themselves. You know, what? Oh, I just lost a good person. But that regret came too late, too late. Let’s learn to really appreciate the favours of Allah Upon Us, seek the Forgiveness of Allah, you know, every time people sought the Forgiveness of Allah in any difficulty, relief came, it definitely came.. listen to what prophet Noah (a.s) told his people, I told my people seek the Forgiveness of Allah. He is most forgiving, he will send for you the rains and the relief that you are so yearning for that you need. He will send a lot of it in abundance. We need relief, we turn to Allah, we promise to change our ways and habits.

We promise to become better people. We promised to be people who not only fulfill their Duty unto Allah, but who reach out to others and they are other creatures of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala at times like these Remember to spend in the cause of Allah, you know, if you want to help of Allah, help someone else and Allah will help you. May Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala grant us ease my brothers and sisters The good news is that very few people would actually die of this particular virus, but because we care for the elderly and because we care for those who are perhaps somehow compromised in their immune system, those who have other challenges underlying issues Health matters because we care Those that is why we’re so passionate about this issue take things. Seriously, if you’re on lockdown take it very seriously, even if you’re not on lockdown. My advice stay at home because you know what, we have the guidance of the prophet (saw) He says when you hear of a plague stay in your house, this is actually a narration of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal (rah). Don’t leave your house. subhanallah, It’s amazing advice, one narration and the common one speaks about the place, the place meaning don’t leave the place where the plague is in, don’t enter the place where the plague is if you were out, but if you look at the prophet (saw) tying the houses with… the whole house, was just two meters by 3 and so on the whole of Medina was not even the size of what Al Masjid an Nabawi is today. So Baqi’ was just outside of Medina, outside of the city and subhanallah what we have today The place of Ed was also outside of the city. So these were different places. I’d like to think, you know what with in your suburb, within your own home depending on the restrictions placed on you remember, I would not want to come out of my home unnecessarily. I have stayed at home. I haven’t gone for salah.

I haven’t gone out except for dire necessity and that too with a lot of precautions being taken with my face covered, you know and everything happening. If I don’t need to come out of my vehicle, I won’t and so on, brothers and sisters that is our duty, the duty that Allah has placed on our shoulders take it seriously. Nobody’s saying abandoned salah, in fact become, Salah meaning prayer become more regular with your prayer to Allah. Subhanahu wa’ta’ala. What did I say? We need to cry. We need to cry about our sins. And we need to think about them. What did we do? What have we done? If we’ve done something? This is the time to turn to Allah and if we don’t know what we’ve done still seek the Forgiveness of Allah astaghfiruka lima la a`lamu ( detalis in the video description) the prophet (saw) used to say I seek forgiveness for that, which I don’t even know, we need that dua much more, my brothers and sisters. This is a Good call, it’s a serious thing and no need to be depressed about isolation for sometimes or depressed about quarantine in certain instances, depressed about being on lockdown in certain instances. We’re In It Together, human beings are in this together. And we as muslimeen have an added Advantage where we’ve got so much to do that’s seclusion. Remember Musa alayhis salaam was placed in a small box. Imagine a little baby in a box, but that was how he was ultimately saved by the help of Allah and the same happens to the people of the cave in seclusion. Remember, they were saved how many years was there? I don’t know how long this is going to last but I know it is the mercy of Allah, we might come out of it, having struggled and suffered in one way, but we will come out having gained in many other ways. So let’s be considerate of others, learn to give people hope no matter how hopeless You may be feeling. it’s time to give everyone hope, it’s time to be together think of activities in the home, fulfill your salah with jamaa, spend the time with exercise. I have my family actually and I’m giving them all the lectures. We were just discussing today that why don’t you record all of these lectures, but you know, when you speak to family, it’s a little bit different. I prayed my brothers and sisters that yeah I’m talking to you here from the same and we’re excited. We’re not overindulging when it comes to food, keeping yourself hydrated as much as possible, keep the zinc in, keep the some of the protein in making sure you’re hydrated because it’s Not healthy to have a lot of protein without being hydrated and that will help you against viruses. Keep yourself filled with vitamin Cs. if you can with various other other little, you know, supplements don’t overdo it. because there is a fear of poisoning but keep yourself healthy and fit.

Mashallah, even if you have a few symptoms here and they don’t let anxiety overtake you but just take a precaution. We’re In It Together. most of us will make it out, but we care for the elderly. That’s why we’re saying passionately, Please be serious, be serious about this. It’s not about you. about everyone else. Well, it may be about you too. Because you might be one of those vulnerable. We care for you, we love you. That’s why we are trying to compel the people to stay indoors as much as possible. Obviously. I’m addressing people from all over the world. So every country has arrived at the different point, we are in Africa, we only have had two confirmed cases in Zimbabwe, but I do know that there may be many others They probably are others. There are so many …with so many symptoms. But unfortunately, we’re just waiting for some testing kits and we getting into gear by the will of Allah, you know, we’re not part of the advanced countries who have everything, some of my friends have been messaging me, telling me subhanallah you need to do this and get this and do that and get this medication that medication just keep it in stock and instore and I’m like, hey guys, this is Africa. We make duaa to Allah and we have fresh organic vegetables and fruits in our Gardens. So we thank Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala for that, my brothers and sisters. I just want to quickly repeat seek the Forgiveness of Allah it Doesn’t mean that you’re guilty of committing crimes, but that is how you will achieve relief, I repeat that verse Allah will not punish them for as long as there are seeking forgiveness. Also, there are so many other verses where the previous prophets have told all their people to seek the Forgiveness of Allah in order to achieve relief and the mercy of Allah. So the mercy of Allah comes when you seek forgiveness of Allah. don’t waste your time. I’ve seen some brothers and sisters waste their time online. You know, what? for some it might the last few weeks in the on the on Earth and imagine the last few weeks on Earth, you’re spending them in such a destructive way or in such a waste, you know in a way that you’re wasting time. Don’t do that spend your time constructively, the dhikir of Allah, cry to Allah, expand your knowledge of the Quran, read the Quran, recite it, pray for you. I’m sure you all praying for me and alhumdillalh I’m very well by the will of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala. I thank Allah like may Allah bless you all.

A Believer Never Loses | Stop Worrying & Being Depressed | Shaykh Hasan Ali

Hey, are you scared that the Coronavirus might hit you you might die from it? Well, if you’re scared that maybe you got something to think about, what are you scared of? what are you scared of? the fact that you might have to leave this world. that probably means that your attachment to this world, was a little bit too much seriously.

if death scares you then it means your heart was attached too much to this world. a little bit too much or maybe the love of your family. Was above the love of Allah azza wajal and his messenger (saw). Yes, you never made the prophet salallahu alayhi Salam more of a family member that you look forward to seeing and hugging on the day of judgment than your own family. And that’s why you scared. We Muslims will avoid anything to do with the Coronavirus will avoid going to the places of Coronavirus, will try and self isolate, it’s all in the Hadith, that’s fine. But we Muslims if something like that was to come about and if it hit us, our prophet (saw) told us that when a person dies from the plague, they are Shaheed, they are Martyr. and if a person dies from the coronavirus, hopefully they are also shahada. They’re also Martyrs, so a believer never loses, if I live alhumdillah I live, if I die I’m a shaheed. if I die from the coronavirus right now, I’m a shaheed, my tawbah and My repentance should be updated. That’s definite. I should have made Allah and his messenger (saw) my focal point at all times of my life. Number one Allah, Number two, the messenger salallahu alayhe wassallam, then my family and anyone else who ever my parents, so on, that’s fine. But number one Allah, Number two, the messenger salallahu alayhe wassallam,

If I’ve kept doing that. I’ll avoid getting in contact with the Coronavirus. But if it hits me and if it kills me that guess what? I’ve got better things to look forward to in the next side. That’s how believer should feel. Seriously. Why are you depressed for? why you sitting there? oh my God jummah is cancelled. Look look. Let me tell you this the hadees is clear in sahih Muslim if you’ve been going for Jummah, all these weeks of your life and one week, you couldn’t go, because of an excuse today in jummah… tomorrow when you get to jummah, you’re going to find the full reward of juma’a in your Deeds, book of deeds in the day of judgement. for not going Jummah. You know why? the prophet (saw) said when a person becomes ill or when a person is traveling and they can’t do the things they used to do before, Allah give them the same reward. So the fact that you couldn’t go to jummah. You can’t go tomorrow to Jummah So what? you would gain the reward but if you weren’t going to jummah you’re not going to get that reward, now think about it all the things you used to do all the good things you should do salah with jamaah, not you again, different some reasons…. you can’t go to the Masjid for Salah because they shut the Masjid.

Well if You’ve been going for as many Salah, you gone before you gain the full reward of that, right now sitting home or doing. I mean you shouldn’t be just sitting home. You should be doing jammah at home. right, do the jammah with your family because you’re a person who’s been doing by with jammah (congregation) and all those people who went to Jummah, all these weeks you gain the reward for that.. you went to jammah, You can reward for that. How does the believer lose that, you don’t do that? And if the person sitting there and thinking oh my God, I might die from this. Well, maybe it’s a good time for you to think about death. Maybe it’s a good time for you to think about death because it’s going to hit you one day anyway, and whatever is written for us is going to be coming our way anyway. Well, you know, we avoid going towards coronavirus or any area that has hit just like just like in the Hadith He (saw) says if … the plague in a place you’re not supposed to go into that country where the plague is and you know, those people there who have been struck by the plague. They’re not supposed to come out and and you know come out of that place and give the plague to others, right? So that’s that we as Muslims we’re going to take that precaution. We’re gonna have self isolate. what are… we going to take the precaution, fine? But in terms of the Coronavirus, I don’t see why people are being so moody, and so on look there’s a lot of good that’s going to come out of this. I’m telling you.

This is the time when we should sit down and reflect, right about all the good things that we’ve had. You can’t travel that was blessing of Allah that you’ve had right? We’ve got food. We… it’s not like we’re not you know, it’s not like we’ve got a famine or something. We haven’t got food, subhanallah, I don’t understand why people have been so depressed. Honestly, I don’t understand, Allah Azzawajal has given you everything everything you’ve got. Alright, you got your fridge, you got your food and … you got supermarkets… That are full of food. All right, and they’re going to carry on being supplied subhanallah all you have to do stay home. That’s all you have to that. You gain depressed? Oh my God.. food.. My reward… Well, if food runs out, let’s just talk about right if food Runs Out So what it? runs out… if we starve a little bit. So what? honestly so on, be prepared for it, be upright human being, be prepared for it. If you’re prepared for the worst.

If you prepared for death, the nothing can make you go down, my friend. Nothing can make you feel dumb. This is this what? if the pandemic goes into a worldwide crisis guess what? You know in some ways there’s gonna be a lot of good coming. I don’t I don’t hear you… know, a lot of people talking about war and this in that not everyone’s thinking about themselves right now. You understand. They’re not thinking about war out there, you know, a lot of good probably going to come out of this, a lot of people going to be thinking differently from what they were thinking beforehand and you as a Believer sit down get on with your life, cheer up and stop thinking that this is the end of the world. We know from the Hadith the end of the world will not happen until the dazzal comes and other . …you know, there’s going to be other Signs of the last hour, which I haven’t come yet. We know that so so it’s not the end of the world. Second thing is all these crises and so on is going to shape human beings to be better. So the time right now is to get on with you what we’re supposed to be doing all this time. Anyway, which is ibadah, get on with your prayers, get close to Allah, don’t do it just for the sake that the pandemic is here. We’re supposed to be doing that before … Anyway update towbah, be ready anytime death comes.. Boom.. gone to the next life. You shall have your martyrdom and you’ll have a better life over there. So stop worrying, stop being depressed. Sit down enjoy life, you know meet your family to whatever else you want to do. Yeah, you know don’t feel that. This is the last day you’re going to be going from them… from the earth…. My God, you got a bigger family on the other side waiting for you, my friend. If you make it your alien to the best place in the next world where all the good souls are your, you know, forefathers your aunties, uncles Whoever has passed away before the waiting for you, right? you’ll be over there. You’ll be with a better family over there. So sit down, right enjoy your life and either way you win because you’re a believer, alhamdulillah

Last Moments of Fatima (Ra) | Emotional Pain Poem By Ali (Ra) | Can’t Stop Crying | Shaykh Omar Suleiman

Fatimah (Ra) after the prophet (saw) died immediately went sick, immediately became ill, right? It did not take but a few days for her to become ill as well and you have to ask yourself. Why did she loved her father so much? did the prophet (saw) spoil her with wealth and riches and throw things out at her, used his position of power to privilege her or was it that intense love that the prophet (saw) showed to her right? that was something and that’s a lesson for parents as well. the prophet as a father, the prophet as a parent that what you give to your child of love is so much more than anything else. You can give to them. How much did the prophet (saw) give her of himself despite being the messenger of Allah, despite having all that he had on this plate that made her love him so much.

So, when did she die RadiAllahu anha, It was the first Ramadan after the death of the Prophet (saw). Imagine Medina first Ramadan after the death of the Prophet (saw) you know, when you talk about anniversaries or things that come up or whatever It is after the death of a person that brings back all the pain, ramadan in the Medina and the prophet (Saw) is alive, leading you in prayer how, I mean look at Masjid in Ramadan how amazing was ramadan with the prophet (saw) among the people and this is the first time that they’re going to have to go through ramadan and the prophet (Saw) is dead and is burried Fatima (Ra) in the very first Ramadan as that Ramadan came around, she was the third day of Ramadan that she goes out to her Courtyard. So meaning right outside the home, She lays at the heavens smiling. She looks up at the skies and she’s smiling, now that to….Asma bint Umais (Ra) She called for Asma bint Umais may Allah be pleased with her.

She told Asma bint Umais (Ra) She said listen when I die. I want to be buried at night. So that not too many people come and no one will see my figure. And you know what she meant by that was that she wanted a very modest, very modest departing, Right, and some of the scholars said, she was of course known for her Haya.. She was known for her modesty and she literally meant it as that I don’t want my figure to be exposed. So bring a cloth that is white that will cover me and let me be buried at night so that very few people would attend so that it wouldn’t cause, it wouldn’t have too many people around at that time and Allah would conceal me. So Asma bint Umais (Ra) told Umm Salama (Ra) , Salama was one of those that furnished the house of Fatima, right and Ali may Allah be pleased with him.

So umm Salama brought her a cloth from habesha from abyssinia from the migration to abyssinia. Those are very thick cloth and sealed her with it and she was happy with it. She looked at that cloth. She said this is good and then she called for Ali (ra) right, So her last moments are actually with her family RadiAllahu anha and she called for Ali (Ra) and they shared some moments of love and she she actually told Ali (Ra) that I want to… she actually told Ali (Ra) who she wants him to marry after she dies, to take care of the kids. So she told Ali (Ra) to marry Umamah bint Zainab who was the daughter of of her sister Zainab? So that she could be a caretaker for the kids. She said she’s a motherly woman. She’s a loving woman. So when I die, I want you to marry Umamah because she would take care of the kids. She would take care of Hasan, Husayn, Muhsin, Zaynab, Umm Kulthum not just her thinking about her children. She Embraces her family and subhanallah.

She leaves this world laying out looking at the heavens. And the angel coming to her and taking her with a nur (light) on her face with with the smile, on her face with just complete peace fulfilling what the prophet (saw) had said, which is that she would be the first of the companions to die after the prophet (saw), the very first person to leave this earth from the family of the Prophet (saw), from as close companions that would join the messenger salallahu Alihi wasalam after his death. Ali (ra) Just lost the prophet (saw) Now he lost fatimah (ra) and Ali (Ra) assisted in the washing of her and he cried frequently at her washing and Ali (Ra) had to have the grueling experience of doing what the prophet (Saw) did with khadiza (ra) which was to actually get in the grave and receive her body and to bury her. And it was extremely difficult on Ali (Ra) to do so and Ali (Ra) led the janazah of his wife fatimah (Ra) and this is going back to the prophet (saw) bearing Khadijah (ra) It feels very similar. Right? I mean that closeness that tightness between these two and Ali (Ra) he actually said he said nothing exhausted me, more in my entire life than the death of my to beloved ones within that short period. I lost the two most important people to me in my life within that very short period, Ali (Ra) said everything I’ve been through in life battles, Wars, khalifa, fitna, all of it.

He said nothing consumed me and took more for me than the death of the prophet (saw) and fatima (Ra) in that very small, you know period of time And this is a… end on a sad note because but there’s something to be to be said about this that when you read the poem that Ali (Ra) recited at the graveside of Fatima (ra) There’s nothing happy about it. There’s nothing about it. That is hopeful, it’s just pain, it’s raw pain when you read what Ali (Ra) said at the graveside of fatimah (Ra) but that shows you that love and that humanity and that rahmah, prophet (saw) said that’s the mercy of the heart, that is mercy,Right? remember when his own son died and the prophet (Saw) was crying and they said you know, how could you be crying yeah rasulAllah, he said it’s a Rahmah,

This is the compassion that Allah puts in our hearts for one another and so the words of Ali (Ra) when Fatima (Ra) died pure pain on I mean unfiltered raw pain. There’s nothing else that’s given except for pain. It’s a very strong poem. He had finished burying her he stood by her graveside and And he recited the following. He said what is wrong with me standing at the graveside saying Salam to the one who has passed, the grave of my lover, but she’s not responding to my greeting, and he calls out and he says my lover why are you not responding to my Salam, have you forgotten all of the intimates? He said have you forgotten all of the intimate moments that were shared between the two of us? And then he actually says in this poem he starts to respond with what fatmah (Ra) would be saying back to him and he says my beloved one responded and said, how can I respond to you? And I’ve become a prisoner. I’ve become now consumed by stones and by dirt and he cried RadiAllahu anhu and he responded again. He’s still speaking. He says the dirt has consumed my beauty and that is why I have moved on and I’ve been Veiled from my family and my beloved ones and so he said… and so she responded and she said and so my Salam back to you and to them meaning to those that I’ve left behind, those intimate moments have now passed. These are painful words. They are raw expressions of death. There is nothing about them.

That is we’ll meet again in Jannah, nothing about them that I’m okay. It’s pure pain and that is actually is an expression of that love that deep love that Ali (Ra) had for fatima (Ra) Ali (ra) who did not go back on his faith. He didn’t become, you know resentful to Allah. He knows the way that this works. He knows the process of death and afterlife, but that doesn’t mean that he didn’t feel pain and I think that’s actually something that’s very important when we lose our loved ones. We’re not Expected to not feel pain. That’s not what sabr is, sabr is not patience, is not to not feel pain and not feel loved and not feel that distance when you lose your loved ones. patience is to not say anything not to say anything except that which is pleasing to Allah and to use that pain to do good for them. Right? like the prophet (saw) with khadiza (Ra) visiting her friends, spending on her behalf, maintaining those relationships. That’s what it is. And I think it’s only fitting that you go through that you just see it’s just love and pain and Ali (Ra) is actually imagining a conversation between him and fathima (Ra) at that point And that’s the deep love that he had for her, RadiAllahu `anha. Of course what we know what the prophet (saw) mentioned of the Gathering of the souls of the Believers. We have no doubt being that they’re both from those promise jannah (Paradise) ******* the masters of the Youth of the people of paradise that they are gathered again in the presence of the Prophet (saw) in The Realm of the righteous Souls. We asked Allah to gather us with them and to allow us to be like them. We ask Allah subhanaw Taala to put that love in that Mercy in our hearts and to put that Rida with Allah that pleasure with Allah has decreed in our hearts and to unite us with our families and to unite us with this blessed family and the highest level jannatul ferdous, allahumma Ameen.

Never Ever Comment About Other’s Complexion And Weight | Make People Feel Important

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him always made people feel very very important, everyone. when he saw a child He actually paused for a moment and gave the child such importance that the child felt empowered, subhanallah Are you a good Muslim? We are supposed to be having decent character and conduct to say the least, right? My brothers, my sisters, If you’re a true Muslim if you want to be a follower of Islam, we know the pillars of Islam, Five Pillars,

we know them but sometimes we behave in a way that is actually so embarrassing. On one hand, we claim to be the ambassador of this beloved beautiful messenger and on the other hand, We are such an embarrassment that people dislike Islam and they dislike, astagfirullah, the messenger peace be upon Him simply because of the way we behave, we behave in a ridiculous way. If someone is darker than you in complexion, all that is required of you is never ever comment about their complexion, I don’t even want to ask you how many of you have ever commented about others complexions because I think I’ll be embarrassed. People are worried about how fair they are And how dark they are. I tell you the almighty says it clearly, your entry into Paradise has nothing to do with your race. Nothing to do with your color. Nothing to do with the size or shape of your body or how much you weigh Imagine you weigh and you strive to lose one stone, half a stone you strive, you struggle I promise you if you had struggled. Half of that dedication if you had to struggle just a little bit not even a struggle to get closer to the almighty You shed some of your spiritual baggage far quicker than you would shed your own weight. And by the way, it’s not bad. It’s not bad. To what? To be a few kilos this way and that way nothing wrong. Don’t get too obsessed. I remember visiting a country. and they were talking about one of the girls who want to get married and obviously every culture has its own taste and has its own understanding and so on and they were talking about a certain girl getting married and one of the brothers said she won’t find a husband. This was somewhere in Africa, by the way. And I was shocked I said brother You cannot say that, you know astagfirullah…. He said no man. She’s nothing, she must eat potatoes and whatever… in our culture you can only get married if you are 70 kilos or more. have you ever heard that? I looked at him I said, in my culture most of the girls would be disqualified, SubhanAllah, may Allah grant us forgiveness protection. Something you look at as positive others. Look at is negative. You see, it’s a matter of where you come from your culture. Allah says, I’m not gonna judge you by your weight. Try your best.

You must be fit. Don’t say I’m a Muslim. Like I said, it’s okay. It’s okay. I can weigh as much as I want. No, you cannot, you must take pride in what you look like in what you feel like in your health. You must learn to do something about it, but don’t become obsessed. That’s what we are saying, Obsession means now it stresses you just because of one pimple on your face. Not at all. I’ve got 10 by the way, it’s fine. My brothers and sisters, let’s refine ourselves. You see someone darker than you, taller than you, shorter than you very thin.. huge. No problem. Greet them, smile at them, make them feel important, give them that empowering the sense of belonging, it will help them and guess what? more than it helps them. You did yourself a favor, Allah says o you who believe, do not destroy the reward of your Charities by bragging about it and by harming Those after you have been charitable. That means if I give you a charity and I brag about it. I’m just Nullified the reward of it. I’m supposed to humble myself.

I’m supposed to make you feel more important than I, even though the world might think you did a favor, the person might also believe you did a favor, but you know, what? if you are refined, you look at it in a different way, humble yourself. Humble yourself, bring yourself to the understanding that you’re supposed to be upon. Never ever Maltreat people based on their financial standing social standing, Sometimes we only greet the Rich and Famous Sometimes we’re only you know, acknowledging people who look a certain way, the day you can acknowledge people who look totally different, people who are from perhaps a totally different background, Different race, different nationality, different Religion, different background the day you can acknowledge them and respect them for the fact that they’re human, They share with you the common factor, the common forefather subhanallah. Who was your greatest grandfather? Adam (a.s) So we’re related. Mashallah. You have to acknowledge if you’re a refined human being. After all, we are brothers and sisters in humanity, the day you acknowledge that that’s the day you inched towards understanding who your maker is. Because that it’s the same maker who made them made you, I’m trying to impress the same Creator who created everyone else. So if he created everyone else and I am so loving and kind to all his creatures, surely you’ll be impressed with me.

And if I’m nasty to one creature of the almighty, do you think he’s going to be impressed with me? He made that creature. you follow what I’m saying? And we call ourselves religious? See what I’m saying? Understand Allah. That’s why the prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him tells us the almighty will not have mercy on the one who doesn’t have mercy on the rest of mankind as a starting point. to what extent did the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him make people feel important? Let me explain the companions say that’s by far one of the most powerful statements when it comes to seeing how the prophet (saw) made people feel around him. It says the companions are saying none of those in his company ever felt that there was anyone more honored than himself to the prophet. Wow, that’s a miracle. That is a miracle. Imagine, I’m sitting with a thousand people and every one of the Thousand believes This guy likes me the most, How’s that?

The prophet Muhammad peace be upon him made everyone feel so important. The brothers, the sisters meaning the men, the women, the children the old, the others, I give you one example Bilal ibn Rabah (Ra) was a man from habesha. habesha is somewhere where Ethiopia is today, So he was an African from Africa, habesha. He was before Islam, A slave and Islam Taught the companions to free the slaves, free them until they were all free. They were all set free. It started off with Abu Bakr the same man Abdullah ibn Uthman (ra) he used to buy the slaves and the free them, buy them from an owner, one of the people of quraysh buy them and then Free them, buy them and then free them and in that way the prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him says that whoever does that they freed themselves on the day of judgment. If you wanted to be free from a punishment, you had to buy one of these people who were oppressed completely unacceptably and free them, you know people don’t talk about this, but that’s Islam. So Abu Bakr as-siddiq (ra) decided to buy Bilal ibn Rabah (ra) free him, he was a slave when he freed him, the honor and the dignity that he got as a Muslim. He was one of the Champions when the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him went up in Mi’raj and Allah showed him jannah and jahannam meaning Heaven and Hell and the heavens and whatever else he came back onto the Earth. And guess what He said? He says imagine everyone is sitting and waiting to listen, you know, what is he going to say? He’s going to describe for us his journey. He started describing and he says where is Bilal out of all the people where is Bilal, imagine you looking for a person subhanallah who was a slave. Probably the darkest in complexion, but the prophet (saw) says is where is bilal? he says Bilal he says when I was in Jannah. I heard your footsteps, la illah ila allah Look at this. I heard your footsteps. It goes to show that entry into Paradise has nothing to do with your color. It’s going to do with your heart in that’s a statement of the Prophet Muhammad Peace be upon him. He says Allah does not look at what you look like. And your body, straight, Allah does not look at your body is what you look like. He looks at your deeds and your hearts. That’s what the prophet Muhammad peace be upon Him taught us. I want you to change your life, my brothers and sisters make people feel important.
