Listen To It! Blaming Allah For Your Failure Or Happening Negative Things | Mufti Menk

Why does Allah allow negative things to happen? Do you know that Allah has given man and Allah has given His creatures to a certain extent, some form of a choice in some of what they do and some of what they say, etcetera?

So Allah has given us a choice within what He has allowed in order to test us and this Allah explains in the Quran in a few places. in gratitude and disbelief come hand-in-hand, you know, so Allah has allowed us certain Leeway but all of that is within the permission of Allah, within the power of Allah nothing happens, except by the permission and knowledge of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala.

Allah says, you know, your striving is very different. It will be each one will strive in his or her own unique way.

Before Allah created you, He asked you a question. What was the question? Am I not your Lord, your Creator? And what did we all respond? We said, indeed, you are. We bear witness that you are. so we actually said this and we forgotten it and Allah says in the Quran, come on the day of judgment and say to Us that oh! We are oblivious of this. We didn’t know this. Allah says there is a nature within you a fitrah, fitrah meaning that Natural Instinct within you to turn towards your Maker alone.

So Allah says that within the nature of man if it is uncontaminated from birth, And there is no external factor that fills that hard drive with that which is unacceptable, automatically The hard drive will fill itself with that which recognizes that I have a supreme Maker who made me, whom I’m going to return to because that would be common sense Allah gave us the sense. He gave us the brains and He has actually left that brain in a way that it is filled as time passes by the surroundings, by the people around you, by those who brought Up, and this is why Allah says to us through the Blessed lips of Muhammad (SAW), every single child is born;

They are only born upon the nature, the nature of recognizing Allah alone, recognizing that you have a Maker, recognizing that the Maker is in control. You’re going to go back to the Maker. He deserves worship alone. That is called al fitrah And as for the parents, what do they do?  They divert them to one of the religions either Christianity or Judaism or whatever else it may be. So, that shows us that this hard drive being filled by something by human beings. It can be filled by the wrong thing.

We are taught the first thing you should teach your child about is Allah. Following the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad salallahu alaihe wasalam, The Purity, the worship, the good habits, The Good Deeds. That’s what you should teach your child manners.

Nothing happens except by the decree, permission and will of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala, He has let us do certain things as a test for us. He allows it and Allah says when bad happens on Earth, do not blame Me. Blame yourselves, you did it, you are the ones who caused issues and problems and the evil effects Of your own Deeds comes back to you to haunt you to harm you and then you want to blame Me? What about all the good that has happened?

Calamity that has struck you is because of what you did with your own hands. You caused problems; don’t blame Allah for your failure, Oh man.

Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala gave you the knowledge or the brain to recognize right from wrong. You chose not to, you chose to allow yourself to be programmed in a wrong way And this is why the pen is not writing Deeds until you arrive at the age of maturity, when you must ask about your faith, your religion and the apps in your device, And you must delete some of those apps that are dangerous and you must recondition your mind and brain in order for it to come in sync with what Allah has revealed.

That’s the only time we’re going to be able to achieve success is when we rethink the entire system that we have into or with that which Allah Has revealed. This is what Allah wants from us.

Remember don’t make a mockery of yourself because at the end of the day you have no option but but to return to Allah. You have no option but to be at the mercy of Allah, you have no option but to go back to where you came from.  Allah will give you a sense of goodness, calmness, contentment happiness, even with the Calamity that strikes.

It’s a message because life is too short those who have amassed, haven’t achieved anything; those who had good, looks haven’t achieved anything. The only people who’ve achieved are those who have turned to Allah. May Allah grant us a good turning.

Surah Ad Duha With Heart-Touching! Keep Reciting And Listening When Sadness Fills Your Heart

Many of us know Surah Ad-Duha off by heart and have probably read its meaning many times as well, which seems quite straightforward. How many of us, though, have actually gone into the reason behind its revelation and derived the lessons and implications this surah has in our lives? This is a great text to save and make intention to learn the surah if you don’t know it already.

*Surah Ad-Duha* was revealed to Prophet Muhammad (saw) at a time when he had not received any revelation for six months, not even in the form of a dream! The Prophet (saw) was in a very disturbed state of mind, feeling negative and depressed and believing that Allah was displeased with him, had forgotten him, and did not want him as a Nabi anymore.Don’t we have similar feelings in our lives? *Times when our level of imaan is low, our khushoo in salah wavers and we feel a drop in our connection with Allah?* We feel like our duas are not being answered, our salah is not having a positive impact on our hearts, and worst of all the feeling that we’re horrible human beings, that Allah doesn’t love us or doesn’t care about us anymore.*Surah Ad-Duha* was revealed to the Prophet (saw) to relieve him of these negative feelings and to give him hope, positivity, and the assurance that Allah is with him no matter what. From it we too can find peace, hope, and a renewed faith in Allah when we go through similar states of depression, sadness, and hopelessness. So what does this surah say?..

How Do You Feel The Company Of Your Friends! Jealous or Spiritual | Ustad Asim Khan

This is an advice from Allah to the prophet (Pbuh) That hold yourself back and keep it the company of those who are following you now, who are the poor, the needy, the slaves and yeah,

you desire that people, you know, from the upper class, people from the rich and Powerful, the wealthy embrace your message and follow you and they don’t, you know, turn away with their nose and their ear because of the fact that poor people are surrounding, no… From Surat al-kahf, verse 28.

Be the company of those who are sincere. Don’t worry about those people who they are. if you want to be more sincere with Allah, you to find the right company. You need to be in the company of people who remind you about Allah.

Here, think about the people that you spend time with.. When you are in their company or when you leave from their company, how do you feel?

Sometimes people spend their time with somebody else and then they leave feeling jealous; that is not a person who reminds you about Allah.

We should seek out friendship with people when we leave their company or when we’re in their company, they remind us about Allah. They remind us about the things that make us less worldly even if they’re not funny, even if they’re not rich, even if they’re not influential, even if they’re not popular. Why? Because they are giving you something that money cannot buy, and that is increasing you in your sincerity

This Man Suddenly Struck Gold! Very Recent True Story of Allah’s Plan | Mufti Menk

Many times in life we fail to progress because we are stuck in the past, and this is not only true when it comes to our own faults and our own sins but even with others. At times it is in the best of your interests to let go of something that looks like you cannot let it go. But in order for you to progress, yes, you must let it go.

Because many people are bogged down in life, they simply cannot move forward. You’re going through a tough time. Trust me; we’ve all been through tough times. But it will last longer, if you don’t progress and you don’t look at the future shine your eyes and take a look at the glass in front of you that shows you the whole road that you don’t even want to walk on.

We become lazy and sad simply because we had something traumatic that happened in our lives. It’s not the end of the road, look up and move forward.

If I told you want to look back it should only be to learn a lesson but not to get stuck in it in such a way that you don’t move forward, remember this.

Look forward, make duaa to Allah, ask Allah, turn to Allah. Make duaa, bear patience. Don’t worry; if the Prophet (Pbuh) went through it who are we? We will go through even more. Don’t ever leave Allah at the time of your hardship. Never blame Allah, no way.

Remember my brothers and sisters, You Are Not Alone. We are in it together. We all have challenges, myself included.  Learn to help one another, learn to say a good word to one another, and learn to be focused, work hard. A day will come when you will smile. May Allah grant us ease.

We go through challenges we go through hardship. Let’s look forward. Let’s progress to instill hope in the hearts of the People by telling them don’t get bogged with the past whether it’s someone who did something to you, whether it’s your own past, you need to look ahead, you need to move forward and you need to understand, make the most of whatever Allah has given you.

Turn to Allah before it is too late. Don’t lose Hope in the mercy of Allah. You are definitely good enough. Just make amends, Get Up, Stand Up and move, move forward, get up for Salah, Ask Allah’s forgiveness.

A Point In My Life I Start Looking For The Truth! Subboor, Father And Son | Speakers Corner

We (Muslims) believe Jesus (A.S) to be messiah. We believe him to be a prophet, not to be God or the Son of God. So we believe he is a messenger of God, and the early Christians; they never believed Jesus was God. This was a later on invention and the idea of the Trinity.

Islam teaches is God can forgive Give us and God doesn’t need a human sacrifice. We shouldn’t just follow the religion of our forefathers. We should look at what is true. And Islam is something which appears not only to your heartable but also to your intellect. It tells you things which are logical.

There’s a Christian Deacon. His name is Dr. Gerald Dirks. He was a Christian and he studied the early history of Christianity and he realized the early Christians did not believe in Jesus being God. They had many different beliefs. And many of these beliefs, they came after Jesus. So, he converted to Islam and he has a lecture on YouTube. You can watch called Islamic trajectories in early Christianity.

‘Do what you desire’ and this is the opposite of what God’s message to humanity is. God’s message is do the right thing not just do what you want, and that’s where I see the conflict between God’s message and the message that we have in contemporary society today.

In the Quran, that God says Think, reflect, question, Ponder; don’t just blindly accept, and one of the messages of the Quran is don’t follow your ancestors. Follow the truth. Don’t follow desire, follow the truth.

God says in the Quran is whoever comes to God with a sound heart will be saved, with a sound heart. So having a connection with God, we can decipher what is God’s intervention in our life. What does God want from us? And one of the messages of the Quran is God is closer to us than our jugular veins, right?

Even though God is above everything, God is closer to us than our jugular veins meaning if we remember God, God remembers us.   If we try to connect with God, God connects with us.

In Islam, it teaches us through connecting with God, through prayer we can make sense of what’s happening to us in our life.

Islam says the purpose of life is to worship God. It’s a very simple thing. What does worship mean? It means you love, Hope, fear, trust; Everything’s in God and everything we do in our life ultimately is for God’s pleasure and we believe as Muslims, The only way to be truly happy is by making God happy, then you will have peace and happiness.

Ask Allah For The Highest! Three Beautiful Stories Of Having High Aspirations | Ustad Asim Khan

One beautiful Hadith from the prophet sallallahu alehiwassallaam, on the topic of high aspirations how the prophet (SAW) spoke from a spiritual perspective:

The hadith is found in sahih al-Bukari, the prophet (SAW) says that paradise Is made up of 100 Levels. Between each level There is a distance of the sky and Earth and then he said the highest level in Paradise is called Al Ferdous and he said.. it is beneath the Throne of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala.

The Hadith ends and the prophet (SAW) says, when you ask Allah, ask Him for Al Ferdous, asking for the highest spot in paradise.

The prophet (SAW) wouldn’t tell us to do something unless it had a benefit, unless it was a realistic thing to do and here he saying, you know what? You should aim high in life. You should aim for the highest spot in paradise. And when you ask Allah don’t ask him for the second best.

If you look at the prophet, they are an embodiment of having high aspirations in both this life and in the Hereafter. So for example, if you look at the prophet Solomon/ Suleiman (A.S), we find a beautiful dua that he makes,

quran image Sad35

Qala rabbi ighfir lee wahab lee mulkan la yanbaghee liahadin min baAAdee innaka anta alwahhabu

(38:35) He said, “My Lord, forgive me and grant me a kingdom such as will not belong to anyone after me. Indeed, You are the Bestower.”

When you try to do something great in this world for the sake of Allah, aim high; actually aim to be the highest.

We take inspiration from the Hadith where the prophet (SAW) told us when you ask Allah; ask Him for Al Ferdous, the Highest.

In the same way when you plan for 2021, plan for a great year. Plan to deliver a lot of good deeds, Deeds that will raise your position in the Hereafter. Deeds that will help leave a legacy behind you.

Why Hijab in Islam! Mufti Menk | Very Powerful Reminders

In Islam we are taught to dress modestly. This modest dressing is not just for the females. it is for the males as well and we are taught to be of high character conduct, values and so on. This modest dress is supposed to calm us. It is supposed to bring about a sense of peace, a sense of equality, whether you are rich or poor, whether you are fair or dark in complexion. Allah loves you, remember that.

Allah loves you an unmatched love; it’s up to you to reciprocate that. Remember my words, Allah loves you but do you love Allah, that’s the question?

If the answer is yes, how can you give up your prayer? How can you start exposing yourself?

I remember someone asks me a question and I’m taking the liberty of answering it here. Because I think it’s absolutely important. Why would Allah judge you based on your dress? Why do I need to cover my hair or my legs? Why would Allah actually judge me based on whether my legs are covered or my hair is covered, you see? These are the questions of today.

So I said for the same reason that He would judge you; if you prayed or not, if you stole or not, if you did anything else or not. These are rules and regulations. You call yourself a Muslim. What is the meaning of a Muslim? Islam is generally interpreted in two what is the meaning of a Muslim? Islam is generally interpreted in two different ways.

Islam which means to surrender and to submit:  Surrender, who surrendered? Anyone who wants to call themselves Muslim; it means they have surrendered.

There are two things; one is to submit and two is peace. Others will say Islam means to submit and surrender. The reality is it means both of them. you submit and surrender and you will achieve peace.

What you do need to know is life will be full of tests from the beginning to the end and Allah says that you are created to be tested. That’s all.
