Mu’adh (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) took hold of my hand and said, “O Mu’adh! By Allah I love you, so I advise you to never forget to recite after every prayer:
اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ “Allâhumma a’innî alâ dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ‘ibâdatika O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner”
Allah asks us subhanahu wa’ta’ala to travel the Earth looking at what has happened to the previous nations in order for us to take heed and to learn a lesson and Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala also instructs us to read about the previous Nations.
Therefore, in the Quran in many places He has told us about the previous Nations what…… and Allah says all these stories have in them lessons for those with sound intellect.
The stories of the previous Nations, As much as there is a warning within them, there is a sense of comfort that Justice does prevail.
Comfort for those in crisis and a warning for those who are creating crises. Prepare for the everlasting life in your temporary life.
When you’re doing good, keep doing good. Don’t let the negatives of others make your positive disappear.
What is siam? What is fasting? did the prophet (saw) say that whoever does not pray Taraweeh, you know with these many units and whoever does not finish the quran with these many times, Allah has no need for their fasting, no.
The prophet (saw) said whoever does not leave off, you know, false speech. Allah has no need for them to leave right, what’s the point of view leaving off your food and your drink.
Am I doing anything that would violate, that it would violate the fast, which would violate these blessed nights? Am I watching something that I should not be watching? Am I saying something I should not be saying? Am I doing something I should not be doing”?
what’s the best way to get laylatul qadr accepted? Don’t do anything that would cause laylatul qadr to be rejected. What’s going to purify me on the inside? What’s going to bring me closer to Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala?
We spoke about the prohibition of intoxicants as well as gambling and Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala makes mention of some of the reasons. Some people ask a question;
Why did Allah create things and then asked us not to engage in them or not to participate or not to do then? Why did He not just leave them and not create them at all and only tell us to worship Him through instructions and obligations.
well, Allah tests us with both asking us to do things as well as asking us to stay away from things.
Sometimes while questioning the wisdom of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala people begin to dwindle in faith not realizing the harms of these things.
If you take a look at those whose lives are all about intoxicants and gambling there is always something wrong with the remembrance of Allah and their prayer and many times They’re involved in feuds and fights enmity and hatred.
We have entered the last 10 nights of Ramadan. These are the most powerful, Most Blessed nights of the entire year. Let’s not waste our time. These are the last 10 nights of Ramadan.
So call out to Allah while your destiny is being written during lailatul Qadr or the night of Destiny. engage in an act of worship, do something good.
Ask Allah’s forgiveness, ask Allah to write goodness for you and for your loved ones and for the globe Humanity at large, ask Allah to bless you and bless everyone around you, ask Allah to keep you rightly guided and to give you Paradise during the night of decree.
Sometimes we dislike someone. So we say things that are unfair and unjust simply because we’ve disliked them. That is unfair. Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala tells us
Yes, when you are in a crisis when you’ve had someone who’s wronged, you when you dislike someone for a certain reason don’t let that lead you to be unjust with that person. Remember the exact parameters of dislike; don’t let it go beyond that at all.
Allah is telling us to stand up for justice Even if it is in favor of those whom you disagree.
it is important for us also to realize on a totally different note that our duty as human beings is to look out for the other human beings. They are all the creatures of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala. It is unfair for us to want to survive at the expense of others.
As human beings we must be concerned for all life. Allah tells us in Surat al-ma’idah that if you saved a single soul, a single person it is equivalent to having saved Humanity because you’re following a good teaching.
At times when we are going through difficulty, I’m sure you and I have tasted. How listening to the Quran, reciting the Quran actually helps so much. It brings us to tears, especially when we’re emotional when we’re feeling low and we hear the verses of Allah (Swt).
Allah speaks about these tears and He praises the tears, the tears of those who cry when they hear the verses of Allah.
Imagine you’re in a crisis, imagine you’re going through hardship and difficulty and then Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala’s verses bring about a comfort, a soothing feeling.
An act of worship that we can describe as being the path of the prophets and Messengers, The Path of every revivalist who succeeded in bringing about great change and Reformation in his or her society. An act of worship that is undoubtedly one of the cornerstones and the key ingredients, tying the knot and repairing a broken relationship between ourselves and Allah, A key ingredient in restoring Iman, repairing broken hearts, Reviving spirituality of a paradise on Earth, gift from Allah Almighty to humanity qiyam al layl / the night prayer.
The messenger salallahu Alihi wasalam said, he said hold on to the night prayer because it is the way of the righteous people before you and it is a means of drawing closer to your lord and it is a means of erasing sins and it is a means of protecting yourself from sins.
Whoever is looking for one of the shortest stairways that lead to the pleasure of Allah, you and I will find it in the night.
Every marriage goes through a little bit of turbulence. If you’ve had a disagreement or a little argument which we should be avoiding but human nature that does happen. It doesn’t mean it’s the end of the marriage. people for every small thing, They say we want divorce or we want out of this marriage that is not the prophetic teaching.
So Allah wants us to try, He wants us to sacrifice whenever we’ve had an issue. We should try our best to make things work. A good communication is essential for a happy marriage.
Some people are divorced when they don’t want to be divorced. They feel that they could have made it work and it is quite depressing sometimes and a lot of anxiety comes into play.
You need to know something Allah says in the Quran giving you a lot of comfort.
The verse number 130 of surah an-nisa if the two separate in divorce, the two have divorced, Allah will bless both of them with His virtue, because He definitely is the owner of great virtue and He is very wise. Allah has broad virtue subhanallah.
So remember divorce is not the end of your life. It could be the beginning of a much happier life. So Allah says when you separate be respectful, you don’t need to engage in mudslinging, speaking bad about the other. You need to worry about yourself to the degree that you ask Allah for Goodness, not just for you but even for your ex-spouse.
Let’s learn to try our best and ultimately if it does end in divorce, it’s not the end of the world.
When you complain to Allah Almighty Remember, He hears you, He will definitely come to your help. But when you have been wronged there is no harm in warning others or even informing them.
Maximize the last 10 nights of the Ramadan with the best dua /supplication of Laytatul
Best dua of the last 10 nights: اَللَّهُمَّ اِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ ، تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنِّي
Aisha reported: I asked: “O Messenger of Allah! If I realize Lailat-ul-Qadr (Night of Decree), what should I supplicate in it?” He replied, “You should supplicate: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun, tuhibbul-‘afwa, fa’fu ‘anni (O Allah, You are Most Forgiving, and You love forgiveness; so forgive me).” [At-Tirmidhi].
Every one of us wants to be in Paradise. Every one of us wants to be in a good place. Every one of us wants to protect himself or herself from the crisis of the Day of Judgment and the afterlife and the Hereafter.
So to comfort us Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala has revealed in many places of the Quran. He has told us how we can achieve that goodness.
Amazing! Allah says whoever follows Allah and His messenger that’s all you need to do. subhanALlah.
