O Allah make Iman beloved to us and beautify it in our hearts, and make us hate Disbelief, immorality, and Sinning and Make us amongst those who are rightly guided.

O Allah! let us enjoy our hearing, our sight and our power as long as You keep us alive and make our heirs from our own offspring, and make our revenge restricted to those who oppress us, and support us against those who are hostile to us, Let no misfortune afflict our Deen; let not worldly affairs be our principal concern, or the ultimate limit of our knowledge, and let not those rule over us who do not show mercy to us
A person asks MuftiMenk why we are particularly talking about this #religion (Islam) for peace only. In reply to this question, Mufti Menk highlights that #Islam is the only faith that goes into every single detail of my life and yours and governs how exactly it should be led in a way that I would be able to achieve inner and outer peace, #peace within myself in fact the condition of my heart needs to be rectified in such a peace with my own limbs and with entire creation around me.

To speak about the duties (especially the importance of reciting and understanding) towards The #Quran#MuftiMenk makes mention of a very interesting hadith where Allah’s Apostle Prophet Muhammad (Sall-Allahu alayhi wa sallam) said, “I have been sent with ‘Jawami-al-Kalim (the shortest expression with the widest meaning)…..” as The Quran will bear #witness for us or against us on the day of #Qiyamah (Judgement) in this lecture.
