After each Fardh Salaah Recite from Fajr of 9th Dhul Hijjah until Asr of 13th “Allaahu Akbar,
Allaahu Akbar,
Laa ilaaha il-lAllaahu,
WAllaahu Akbar
Allaahu Akbar,
Wa Lil-laahil-hamd
(Allaah is the Greatest,
Allaah is the Greatest,
there is no god but Allaah; Allaah is the Greatest
and to Allaah be all praise),”
It is Sunnah to recite takbeer at any time during the first ten days of Dhu’l-Hijjah and all the days of Tashreeq, starting from the beginning of the month of Dhu’l-Hijjah (i.e., from sunset on the last day of Dhu’l-Qa’dah) until the end of the days of al-Tashreeq, which is when the sun sets on the thirteenth day of Dhu’l-Hijjah).
With regard to at certain times, it starts from Fajr on the day of ‘Arafah and lasts until the sun sets on the last day of the days of Tashreeq, in addition to the takbeer that may be recited at any time. So when a person says the tasleem at the end of the obligatory prayer, he should pray for forgiveness then start the takbeer.
This is for those who are not on Hajj. The pilgrims should start the takbeer recited after prayer from Zuhr on the Day of Sacrifice (the 10th of Dhu’l-Hijjah).
And Allaah knows best.
[See Majmoo’ Fataawa Ibn Baaz (may Allaah have mercy on him), 13/17; al-Sharh al-Mumti’ by Ibn ‘Uthaymeen (may Allaah have mercy on him), 5/220-224.] no need to say..
The day of Arafah, which is the ninth day of dhul-hijjah. That’s one of the 10 days that some of the scholars said was the best day out of these 10 days because they have arafah.
The best dua that people made the prophets before Rasul’allah including the Rasulullah is that they used to say:
Lā ilāha illallāh, waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu, wa huwa ‘alā kulli shai’in qadīr.
None has the right to be worshipped but Allah, alone without partner. To Him belongs all that exists, and to Him is the praise, and He is powerful over all things
It is really a blessing from Allah that he has gifted us What are the best days of the year; these 10 days of dhul-hijjah.
It is very important for a believing person to recognize that Allah has created us, you know with multiple dimensions and if we wish to thrive in this life and in the next life, we must look after our physical body, our mental well-being as well as our spiritual State and that is why again these 10 days because we are encouraged to more acts of Good Deeds more acts of worship that will spiritually uplift us and then that in sha Allah will take its consequence on our frame of mind.
And remember that whoever gives up something for the sake of Allah Allah will replace it with something better.
A Good thing to do during these 10 days: teach someone, some good, subhanallah. The prophet Muhammad (saw) was sent as a teacher to us.
If Allah has given you an opportunity To have a following online perhaps on social media make sure you’re leading them in the right direction.
I tell you if you’re leading them in the right direction, you can earn jannah simply by your social media accounts. You can earn Paradise simply by the correct use of your social media accounts.
Don’t be, don’t be shy to delete that which is bad, no matter how popular it’s become…
Ibrahim/ Abrahim (A.S) is an amazing figure one who we take our Ritual from our Deen, from the great-grandfather of the Prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam who resembled the prophet (Saw) and the prophet (Saw)’s way resembles his way the most.
Hajar (A.S), wife of prophet Ibrahim (A.S) put into the spiral of uncertainty and has to figure it out along the way in a very unique way to her perspective and in a way that we can all take lessons of conviction and certainty in times of deep uncertainty.
This is a story of a woman that was in the house of the Pharaoh. hajar (A.s) at that point with full conviction, full certainty.
She said that Allah is not going to lose His people. I’m not worried then complete Sakina, complete trust, complete Tranquillity. Imagine this situation here; She’s going to be left in the desert with a baby. No one around her, but she says Allah does not lose his people.
Hajar (A.s) is demonstrating the most beautiful verses about what it means to trust in moments Of uncertainty. You expect good from Allah, Allah will give you good.
As long as you have that certainty in Allah that it doesn’t matter what your circumstances are; Allah does not lose His people.
laa ilaaha ill-allaahu waḥdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer, laa ilaaha ill-allaahu waḥdahu, anjaza wa‛dahu, wa naṣara ‛abdahu, wa hazam-al-’aḥzaaba waḥdah
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said when describing the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pilgrimage: …and when he approached mount Safa he recited:
“Indeed Al-Safa and Al-Marwah are from the places of worship of Allah…”
“I begin with what Allah began with.”
…so he started with Safa and climbed it until he could see the Kabah, he then faced it and said:
“Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest.”
…and then he would say the following three times making a supplication (one should make a personal supplication) after each time:
“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His slave and single-handedly defeated the allies.”
…he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would repeat this action at Marwah.
The days of the first 10 of Dhul-Hijjah are more valuable than the days of Ramadan speaking of daylight.
The prophet Muhammed (Saw) said there are no days in which Allah loves Deeds more than those that are done during these first 10 days of Dhul-Hijjah.
So if we were told that there are no days wherein Deeds are more loved by Allah then these 10; what should we be doing?
There is no point in sinning especially during a time when Allah says good deeds are most loved to me. We should be doing seeking the forgiveness of Allah often.
Why do you think He gives us these auspicious days and nights Him to tap us on the shoulder and tell us, it’s time you turned it to Allah.
The reason that these 10 days are so massive and so rewarding is in them; We have day of arafah like in Ramadan we have laitual Qadr. The messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, He summarized the whole Hajj and he said Hajj is Arafah.
The messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said the day that is promised is the day qiyamah and the day that is witnessed is the day of Arafah and the day is Jumah. And the day of Arafah there is one hour. If this hour passes by a mumin that is asking Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala for khair (good), Allah would answer the dua of that person.
This hour comes to a servant of Allah while he is asking Allah to protect him from a certain evil then Allah will protect that from him. If you are outside of the hajj and you fast the day of Arafah, then Allah will forgive two years of your sins.
Do not waste a single minute during this first ten days of dhul-hijjah because these 10 days are the most important days of the year. You cannot afford to waste a single minute. Be kind and nice to people, be good to the neighbors. Be happy and cheerful and be nice and courteous to all the people living around you.
Do as much as the sunnah you can do it is better during the first 10 days of dhul-hijjah. Give as much time as you can for your family members
Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar La Ilaha Ilallah Wallahu Akbar Allahu Akbar Wa Lillahil Hamd
Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest. There is no deity (no god) besides Allah and Allah is the greatest. Allah is the greatest and to Allah all praises belong. Reason
From the infinite wisdom of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala Is that he divided the year in two months. Allah azzawajal told us; indeed the number of months in the sight of Allah is 12 months in the book of Allah. From the day that Allah created the heavens and the Earth among them are four which are sacred among these four sacred months is the month which is just Dhul –Hijjah.
Allah chose certain months to prefer over others And certain times to prefer all the others. Allah azzawajal chose for us times to perform certain acts of worship which are better than other times. This month of Dhul Hijjah is a very important month and it is a month in which the first 10 days are the most important and the most virtuous of the days of the Allah azzawajal swore by these days in surah al-fajr.
We should fill them with as many Good Deeds as we possibly can. These 10 days is your opportunity to go back to where you were in the last 10 days of Ramadan. It’s an opportunity for you to continue and to increase in the Good Deeds that you are doing.
There is no better time to get back on track and started again than the first 10 days of dhul-hijjah because these are the days in which there are no other days of the year in which righteous Deeds are more beloved to Allah than these 10 days.
If we were to read carefully what those Messengers came with in terms of revelation, we would find that Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wasallam left us with two main things and he says I’ve left you with two things for as long as you hold fast upon them you will never be led astray.
That is the Quran and my Sunnah which means the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad peace be upon …his life and his teachings.
As you apply your mind and you realize why exactly you are on earth; It is precisely what Allah says. So in Surat al-baqarah Allah says we will definitely test every single one of you.
One of the reasons why I’m on earth is to be tested. I will face challenges difficulties hardship.
In fact in Surat al-ankabut Allah says that is how He distinguishes the Believers from those who are liars, those who don’t really believe.
what will Allah test us with? What do I need to expect? in life, we get attached to things and we don’t realize when we came Into this world We were alone. prior to coming into this world We were where Allah wanted us, but we came alone and Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala says when we go; we will go alone and we will meet Allah alone and we will answer to our questions or accountability will happen alone on that day.
You’ve just come yourself. And guess what? your Deeds; so do good deeds.
I need to fulfill the obligations and stay away from prohibitions and I need to know that the things that I will become acquainted with and attached to at some point Allah will detach me from them for as long as they are material items of this world, things that are very very connected to this.
when we get Too attached to this comfort zone where in the day Allah decides to take us out of it as He has promised. It will be extremely difficult.
So Allah says don’t get too attached even to people, get attached to Allah. the messenger peace be upon him his legacy lives on, his Sunnah lives on, get attached to that.
Dua:
Dua for protection from illness and disease
This dua for protection from illness should be our constant prayer at this time – and it carries an important reminder that our refuge is always in Allah (SWT):
