A Good thing to do during these 10 days: teach someone, some good, subhanallah. The prophet Muhammad (saw) was sent as a teacher to us.
If Allah has given you an opportunity To have a following online perhaps on social media make sure you’re leading them in the right direction.
I tell you if you’re leading them in the right direction, you can earn jannah simply by your social media accounts. You can earn Paradise simply by the correct use of your social media accounts.
Don’t be, don’t be shy to delete that which is bad, no matter how popular it’s become…
Ibrahim/ Abrahim (A.S) is an amazing figure one who we take our Ritual from our Deen, from the great-grandfather of the Prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam who resembled the prophet (Saw) and the prophet (Saw)’s way resembles his way the most.
Hajar (A.S), wife of prophet Ibrahim (A.S) put into the spiral of uncertainty and has to figure it out along the way in a very unique way to her perspective and in a way that we can all take lessons of conviction and certainty in times of deep uncertainty.
This is a story of a woman that was in the house of the Pharaoh. hajar (A.s) at that point with full conviction, full certainty.
She said that Allah is not going to lose His people. I’m not worried then complete Sakina, complete trust, complete Tranquillity. Imagine this situation here; She’s going to be left in the desert with a baby. No one around her, but she says Allah does not lose his people.
Hajar (A.s) is demonstrating the most beautiful verses about what it means to trust in moments Of uncertainty. You expect good from Allah, Allah will give you good.
As long as you have that certainty in Allah that it doesn’t matter what your circumstances are; Allah does not lose His people.
laa ilaaha ill-allaahu waḥdahu laa shareeka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamdu wa huwa ‛alaa kulli shay’in qadeer, laa ilaaha ill-allaahu waḥdahu, anjaza wa‛dahu, wa naṣara ‛abdahu, wa hazam-al-’aḥzaaba waḥdah
Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) said when describing the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) pilgrimage: …and when he approached mount Safa he recited:
“Indeed Al-Safa and Al-Marwah are from the places of worship of Allah…”
“I begin with what Allah began with.”
…so he started with Safa and climbed it until he could see the Kabah, he then faced it and said:
“Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest, Allah is the greatest.”
…and then he would say the following three times making a supplication (one should make a personal supplication) after each time:
“None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs all sovereignty and praise and He is over all things omnipotent. None has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone. He fulfilled His promise, aided His slave and single-handedly defeated the allies.”
…he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) would repeat this action at Marwah.
The reason that these 10 days are so massive and so rewarding is in them; We have day of arafah like in Ramadan we have laitual Qadr. The messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam, He summarized the whole Hajj and he said Hajj is Arafah.
The messenger of Allah sallallahu alayhi wa sallam said the day that is promised is the day qiyamah and the day that is witnessed is the day of Arafah and the day is Jumah. And the day of Arafah there is one hour. If this hour passes by a mumin that is asking Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala for khair (good), Allah would answer the dua of that person.
This hour comes to a servant of Allah while he is asking Allah to protect him from a certain evil then Allah will protect that from him. If you are outside of the hajj and you fast the day of Arafah, then Allah will forgive two years of your sins.
