Whenever I talk about love for the sake of Allah I need to make sure that it’s not just from my mouth just like when we say “La Ilaha Illallah Muhammadur rasulullah sallAllahu sallam” a lot of us never pause to think about what we’ve just said we don’t pause to think of what we’ve just said. The prophet Muhammed told that the average life span of the members of my Ummah is between 60 and 70 years but there is no guarantee that we will live up to 60 or 70 years.so who is the winner; the winner is not the one who lives for many years on earth nor is the winner the one who doesn’t live much in this troubled earth; the winner is the one who passes away in a condition that Allah is pleased with him /her. Allah says to us that don’t die except in the condition of submission unto Allah and the one who seeks #forgiveness from a sin is equivalent to he or she who has not committed the sin.

In the end, Mufti Menk mentions that Allah will continue to help a #worshipper for as long as that worshipper continues to help another.

In this lecture #MuftiMenk presents how to overcome sadness by asking a few questions by oneself as things do not happen according to what or according to how we want them to happen. We are human beings it is only natural and normal that sometimes we feel very #happy and sometimes we feel sad. So when we are happy we need to ask ourselves what is it that has made us happy if it is the relationship you have with Allahsubhanahu wata’ala that is something everlasting; if it is something material connected to this world remember it is temporary and the day will come when Allah will test you by reversing it, it has to be. This life on earth is absolutely it is not going to last long; we in actual fact are here to be tested. So this is Allah He is the one who gives you glad tidings. So do not lose focus and we should praise Allah upon all conditions.

Mufti Menk ends with a powerful narration that always brings about a lot of comfort in our hearts “Amazing are the affairs of a true believer, all of his /her affairs are always good; nothing bad can happen to a true believer. When goodness happens he / she is thankful, when bad happens he /she is patient but he / she never upsets with Allah, he /she never be angry, He /She is always smiling, he/ she is always remembering Allah (swt)#Subhanallah, #Alhamdulillah these are the words these are the actions that will alleviate the #sadness that we feel sometimes as human beings.

Why I Don’t See Response From My Dua Or Supplication | Mufti Menk

#MuftiMenk enlightens how to #dua (#supplication)get answered by Allah (swt)mentioning why is it that we make a Dua or what is known as a supplication and we don’t see the reply the response, we don’t see it sometimes. What’s the reason; Rasulullah (saw)has told us that whenever any one of you make dua it is always responded to, Allah replies, Allah responds sometimes we get what we wanted masha’Allah, sometimes we get what we want a little bit later on sometimes we get something in place of what we had asked because Allah knows that is better for us and sometimes Allah (swt) keeps in store for us something in layer of that #prayer or that supplication in the #Akira, so this is all part and parcel of what Allah has chosen for us.

When the Almighty Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’ala decided to create man, He definitely would never have left mankind without showing him or explaining to him why he was created. So Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’ala decided to send messengers in order for these messengers to convey to us all as #mankind why He created us. This life is in fact temporary it is something that does not last forever. No matter how healthy we are, a day will come when you and I shall be gone just like those before us have already left. So, we should be enjoying but within the parameters shown to us by the light that was sent to us from the Almighty who made us in the first place. Almighty sent #messengers with the light of a set of instructions why He has made us and what this life all about is. It is he or she who is disciplined and understands that yes we should be enjoying the life in this world as best as we can on condition that we do not compromise the pleasure of our own Maker, is the one who is the happiest in this world.
