Why “Love For Other What You Love For Yourself” Is Hard To Apply | How To Complete Faith~ Shaykh Ali Hammuda

It is definitely an uncomfortable reality but nevertheless it is the truth. This is in reference to the reality which states that not all people who will meet Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala on the day of reckoning with iman, with faith will be granted instant access to paradise. Unfortunately, that is not the case. There are certain deficiencies in Eman, ie in our Eman which may mean that some people will not experience paradise as the very first destination.

Therefore it’s for this exact reason that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) out of his love and mercy towards us strong with all what he possessed to guide us to certain characteristics and traits and behaviors to raise our Eman to high levels to ensure that we never need to feel the fire of hell before paradise which will raise us to the highest levels in Jannah.

I want to give you one such example of a hadith that does this. This is the famous hadith which Bukhari and Muslim narrate on the authority of Ans (Ra) where the messenger (saw) said none of you truly believed until you love for your brother what you love for yourself.

This is one of the fundamental narrations of the religion of Islam. The completion of your Eman, your faith depends upon the likes of this narration.

This is the first reason your Eman depends upon it. Number two: being shielded against the fire of hell depends upon this hadith.

Salvation, success, protection in the hereafter is hinged on to two principles: correcting your affair with Allah, your relationship with Allah, tawhid in Islam and then correcting your relationship with people.

So, reality of faith depends upon it, entry to jannah depends upon it. Protection from the Hellfire depends upon it look at number four: how Allah almighty treats you in this world and in the hereafter depends upon this hadith.

Why is it so easy to speak about this principle but in the lives of many people it’s so hard to apply? The answer is because it boils down to an illness deep inside and illness within the heart. A heart that convinces you that the losses of other people, somehow means that you’ve now automatically progressed in life is a terribly ill and a severely mistaken Heart.

The benefits  of living by this principle loving for him what you love for yourself and this is part of completion of Eman and the benefit of this is not limited to the hereafter, the benefits extend to this world Allah is so generous.

By remembering that there is enough to go around, be at the service of others. There for those people who serve with sincerity, wanting for others what they want for themselves Allah does not them down in both of the worlds. Strive to leave a legacy behind you footprints that are not erased till the day you meet Allah. Please plan a project…. Shaykh Ali Hammuda

Love During Times Of Difficulty! Four Heart-Touching Scenarios ~ Shaykh Ali Hammuda

I’m not going to share with you examples of love in those times of comfort. That’s easy to claim love. I would like to share with you perhaps four examples during times of difficulty. During times of war for example is when you see the true love that a person has for another, when it’s either your life or his.

When A woman from the tribe of dinah was given the news that her husband, brother and father had been killed after uhud, she said what happened to the prophet of Allah (ﷺ).They said Alhumdillah, he (ﷺ) is well. No, point him (ﷺ)out to me so that I can see him (ﷺ)with my own eyes. When she saw him (ﷺ) she said every calamity in life is small so long as you (ﷺ) are okay.

Why all of this love now we ask, what was it that they saw in him(ﷺ) that call was this obsession dear brothers and sisters? what did they see? what did they hear?

They saw in him (ﷺ) a human being who was a perfect embodiment of all of the values that he (ﷺ) called towards and invited them to be good people then they saw in him (ﷺ) the best of them all.

He (ﷺ) commanded them to be generous. They saw in him (ﷺ) the most generous of Allah’s creation describing him (ﷺ) like the wind that blows and scatters money… he (ﷺ) commanded the Muslims to be compassionate and gentle. you look at him (ﷺ)and you would think Allah had sent him (ﷺ) for no other purpose other than to pass a gentle caring hand over the head of the orphan and to support the widow to give encouraging advice to those who were let down, to respond to the invitations of the downtrodden in society and to eat from their food even if it was about to go off, he (ﷺ) would not break their hearts and visit those who were handicapped and disabled you would think Allah had sent him(ﷺ) for no other reason other than to be compassionate and kind. ~Shaykh Ali Hammuda Shaykh Ali Hammuda

Prompt! Stop Haram Things To Get A Better Replacement | Allah’s Promise ~ Ali Hammdua

Allah Almighty has promised those who courageously reject a sinful practice with that which is better. This is a promise that provides so much strength peace and solace and reassurance particularly to the young Muslim man or that young Muslim woman who may be struggling with a specific addiction of some sort or a particular private doing that they know will distance them from Allah and will distance them from success in the hereafter.

The prophet Muhammed (ﷺ)said “There is it anything that you leave for the sake of Allah, accept that He will replace you with something better”. That’s a promise and and Allah Almighty never fails in His promise.

Make the courageous decision from this moment onwards, to make amends to those habits, those relationships, those secret doings that you know need evicting from your life. Then, realize that the better replacement from Allah has already been dispatched and it is on its way, Allahu Akbar.

4 True Stories Revitalise You Instantly From Frustrations ~Shaykh Ali Hammuda

Proactivity is a universally admired trait even if we aren’t blessed to live by it. Minimally we admire those who do and we wish to be like them. Minimally we admire those who do and we wish to be like them. So, we ask if it is collectively admired, why is it that some of us still fail to live a proactive lifestyle?

Belittlement of oneself, yeah, so this is a person who genuinely desires to be an initiative taker and to live proactively with purpose vision and energy and motivation but he is shackled with the whisperings of who am I to do so like what value could I, could a person like me possibly add?

I wish to do now is offer a few examples which insha’Allah will pull the rug from beneath every such excuse.

Examples of proactivity that inspired imam to stay steadfast, that drove away enemies and broken alliance communities from destruction and saved other communities from medina that saved entire from the Hellfire at the hands of what and who? ..At the hands of a thief, at the hands of a new Muslim, the hands of an ant, the hands of a bird.

So with this we can really conclude that those who despite hearing all of that still insist that they’ve got nothing to offer, they have no reason to be a proactive, that person may in fact be accusing Allah Almighty of not giving them the necessary resources needed to attain the heights highest grades in paradise.

Proactivity has always been and will always be the fuel of the Dawa and reformation and revival and change. It is that vehicle that delivered Islam to Persia and Rome and Africa and the rest of the world.

Our history as Muslims describes a people of phenomenal proactivity which included the old and the young, the fit, the handicapped the male, the female, the scholar, the uneducated.

Allah Almighty alone knows of just how many people were heading for a nosedive into hell. if it wasn’t for certain proactive people who pulled them out and only Allah knows how many talents and skills would never have been discovered if it wasn’t for certain proactive people who uncovered them in these people and then channelled the skills for the cause of Islam and only Allah Almighty knows how many communities who were oppressed subjugated who would never have been liberated, had it not been for certain proactive people like yourselves who decided to carry this burden for the sake of Allah subhana WA Ta’ala. – Shaykh Ali Hammuda

How To Bring Tranquility & Mercy Of Allah Into Your Family~Shaykh Ali Hammuda

This is Bushra right, this is good news.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported:

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “Any group of people that assemble in one of the Houses of Allah to recite the Book of Allah, learning and teaching it, tranquility will descend upon them, mercy will engulf them, angels will surround them and Allah will make mention of them to those (the angels) in His proximity.” [Muslim]. Arabic/English book reference: Book 9, Hadith 1023

Sakinah / tranquillity will come down upon them, tranquillity it feels as if all of the troubles of your life have been lifted at least for this hour. Rahmah (mercy of Allah) envelops them.

If the mercy of Allah touches you dear brother dear sister you have nothing to worry about in this life or the hereafter.

Story Of A Man Who Was Swallowed By The Earth| Shaykh Ali Hammuda

The true worshipers, the true servants of ar-rahman are those who walk the earth with ease. The very first description that has been given to us about these righteous people has nothing to do with their prayer, their sadaqa, their fasting, their beard, their hijab, their niqab none of it and all of this is essential, don’t get me wrong. it is a description of how they walk and the Quran has given so much attention to this topic of walking.

These true worshipers of Allah can be recognized as a very special category of people, merely by looking at their gait.

The walk has so much so much about a person. These true servants of Ar-Rahman they glorify their Lord so much and they are so shy of him that it appears not only in their bowing and prostration at night, it shows by day when they are walking going to work, going to the marketplace, visiting their relatives by the way they walk you know this is a very special category of people, Allahu Akbar.

Abu Huraira reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “While a man was walking in a fine garment, with his hair groomed and impressed with himself, Allah caused the earth to swallow him. He will be buried until the Day of Resurrection.”

Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 5452, Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 2088

They walk upon the earth Allah said they have pride not arrogance confidence in the religion that Allah has given them.

What Type Of Friend Will Ask Paradise For Us On Judgement Day | Mufti Menk & Ali Hammuda

#MuftiMenk highlights that it is extremely important for us to know is if we want to save ourselves from a lot of evil; we need to ensure that those we interact with and mix with and those we choose as #friends are better than us or similar in this lecture.

#Alihammuda brings forward that how it is important for taking the people of goodness and righteous as friends who will look for their friends in the #Jannah (#parardise) and when they won’t see them there, they will give witness for their friends and beg paradise for them. As a result Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala will grant their request and they will be able to bring their #friend from hell to paradise by the grace of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.

Have The Quran As A Lawyer For Judgement Day | Mufti Menk With Nouman Ali Khan & Ali Hammuda

#MuftiMenk mentions that on the day of Qiyamah a person who’s made an effort to memorize and put into practice part of the Quran if not all of it, the person will be told on the day of judgement read recite as you used to in the dunya that’s why I told you read melodiously in the dunya from hadith.

#NoumanAlikhan highlights that Allah Azzawajal described it with light and that light is the only thing that matters on Judgement Day from the verses 12-15 of Surat Al-Hadid and how is it that we can continue to preserve our light and continue to remind ourselves because the day of judgement day is completely dark and the only light is the light coming out of my chest to show us the path to the Jannah (paradise). We can make stronger the light in this world by remembering Allah (swt) more and more through reciting His book.

#AliHammuda cites that the second lawyer of a person on the day of judgement is the book of Allah-the Quran. Quran will speak, defend and intercede for people on the day of judgement and give special attention to two surahs of the Quran Al-Baqarah and Al-imran chapter 2 and Chapter 3 Of The Quran Because they will come on the day of judgement in the form of two clouds or in the form of two canopies or in the form of two flocks of birds and they will be arguing for their people on the day of judgement from hadith.

Recite The Powerful Surah & Dua During Times Of Sorrow & Grief

#MuftiMenk makes mentions of reciting surah Ad-Dhuha with its meaning when you are struggling with Low Mood & #Depression in response to what should be recited if someone feels sad.

Another speaker: Shaykah Ali Hammuda mentions that Allah is just. This gateway is so effective in giving peace of mind and appreciating some of the Qadar (divine decree) of Allah and the #dua (supplication) the messenger (ﷺ) said any human being who was affected with sorrow grief sadness he / she should say the following words:

Transliteration: Allaahumma ‘innee ‘abduka, wabnu ‘abdika, wabnu amatika, nasiyatee biyadika, madhin fiyya hukmuka, adlun fiyya qadha’uka, asaluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fee kitabika, ‘aw allamthu ahadan min khaliqika, aw ista’tharta bihi fee ilmil ghaybi ‘indaka, án taj’alal-qurana rabee’a qalbee, wa noora sadree, wa jala’a huznee, wa thahaba hammee

Translation:O Allaah indeed I am Your slave, and the son of Your slave, and the son of Your female slave, my forelock is in Your Hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask of You with all Your names, which belong to You, which You have named Yourself with, or which You have taught someone from Your creation or revealed it in Your Book or that which You have taken unto Your self with the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and light of my breast and keep away from me my sadness, and that my grief goes away –

Two Things Make Worship Colourful And Dynamic From Boring

Shaykh Ali Hammuda makes mention of two thing s which are the intention and the compliance to the sunnah of the messenger sallallahu alaihi wasallam make #worship colourful, dynamic and excited in the masjid and out of the masjid as everybody feels the need to have an identity and if you are living a life of Islamic purpose and there aren’t many who are sharing the same vision or upon the straight and narrow that you are upon then it becomes a little bit daunting and thus it seems to be #boring, backward, dark lonely .

“The intention and compliance to the #Sunnah of the messenger (Saw) if these two conditions are found in anything it is an act of worship in the in the eyes of Allah jalla jalaluhu”.- Ali Hammuda
