Justice Comes Before Kindness | Important Message | Mufti Menk

Allah says When You Speak, When You Judge Between People, Be Just, Be Very Very A Fair And Balanced Even If It Is Against Your Own Relatives.

Allah says He Justice Comes First Whether It Is Against You, Your Mum And Dad Or Your Relatives.

I Make Mistakes, You Make Mistakes And Sometimes The Human Nature Or The Habits Begin To Show. If Those Habits Are Oppressive, You Need To Stand For Justice In Order To Comfort Yourself In That Crisis.

People Are Suffering, A Lot Of Homes Are Plunged Into Crisis And Those Crises Grow So Big Simply Because A Word Was Needed From You And You Didn’T Say It.

Don’T Confuse Obedience With Respect And Kindness And Remember Allah Said Justice Overrides Everything

Allah Instructs You Three Things, He Wants You To Be Just, He Wants You To Be Kind And He Wants You To Give Your Relatives, Look After Them. Justice Comes Before Kindness.

Lailatul Qadr- Question On Making Dua As Destiny Is Fixed 50000 Years Before The Creation

We as Believers firmly believe in the validity of this Destiny.

The best duaa on  lailatul qadr are the ones that entail forgiveness because there’s nothing in the decree that is more precious to you that you should be seeking than the Forgiveness of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala.

So we’re taught call out to Allah, call now to Allah. Calling out to Allah in supplication is actually the whole essence of worship.

How To Protect The Faith From A Massive Wrongdoing In Islam | Mufti Menk

Allah Almighty is the most merciful. He says anyone who seeks forgiveness from sin while they’re alive breathing, they are Well, they will be forgiven, no matter what the sin is.

There is one sin that is considered the worst possible sin that man could commit according to the Quran and the teachings of the Prophet salallahu alaihe wasalam, this sin is Known as shrik, shrik meaning to worship Someone besides Allah or with Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala Association of partnership with Allah, Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala states that He will not forgive shirk under certain circumstances.

If a person has committed shirk in their lives and they seek forgiveness from they will definitely be forgiven without a shadow of doubt.

The only time He doesn’t forgive shirk according to Him is if you died and you did not repent from your sins.

If you want to achieve comfort in any situation don’t insult people, don’t abuse them. You disagree, express that disagreement with utmost respect, respect yourself to begin with and then respect others.

If you really care for mankind and you really care for people and want them to see the truth, the truth will never be communicated to them via insult and abuse rather it will be done in a very respectful manner that is convincing.

Lailatul Qadr- Dos And Don’ts while Making Dua | Mufti Menk

The Hadith says whosoever does not ask Allah, Allah becomes upset with that person, Subhan Allah.

The prophet Muhammad sallallahu wasallam says Allah Almighty hears every dua, every prayer, and every supplication. He gives you whatever He Wills to give you as a result of the supplication and it’s never a loss because if you ask Allah for something and He knows it’s bad for you. He may give you something else that is good for you.

One of the beautiful ways of seeking from Allah is to say o Allah if this is good for me give it to me, if it is not good for me. Keep it away from me.

When you call out to Allah, You can’t just make dua all night and then sin all day or as soon as you ask Allah, you’re not conscious of the instructions of Allah.

Keep calling out to Allah. Don’t be selfish when you call out to Allah, call out for others as well; your family members, your friends Even your enemies, the others the entire ummah, Humanity at At large, call out for everyone. When you call out for others. The angels are saying oh Allah give this person the same as well.

The Dhikr-Dearer To The Prophet (ﷺ) Than Anything Over Which The Sun Rises | Shaykh Hasan Ali

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The uttering of the words: “Subhan-Allah (Allah is free from imperfection), Al-hamdu lillah (all praise is due to Allah), La ilaha illallah (there is no true god except Allah) and Allahu Akbar (Allah is the Greatest)’ is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.”

[Muslim].

سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَلاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ

Transliteration: Subhanallah walhamdulillah wala ilaha illallah wallahu akbar.

Glory be to Allah, Praise be to Allah, There is no God but Allah, Allah is Great

Allah’s Way Of Touching Our Lives | Wonderful Reminders

If Allah has taken something away from you, it’s not a sign that He is upset with you. And if Allah has given you something it is not necessarily a sign that He is pleased with you.

If you are trying your best, if you’re seeking forgiveness Allah says I will never punish you while you are seeking forgiveness. So one of the ways of diverting punishment is to seek the Forgiveness of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala in that case He says, He will not punish those who are seeking His forgiveness.

in verse number 44 of Surat Al-An’am, when He says those who forgot us completely, We opened all the doors of materialism for them.

Because giving does not necessarily depict the pleasure of Allah, The pleasure of Allah is in the worship of Allah when you are trying to develop a good relationship with Allah, he gives you the Comfort, He gives you the contentment.

When Allah has taken something away from you, It is not necessarily a sign of His anger nor is it His punishment, no. if your relationship with Him is good It was a good thing.

Never Forget To Recite This Short Dua After Every Prayer | Shaykh Hasan Ali

Mu’adh (رضي الله عنه) reported: The Messenger of Allah (صلى الله عليه وسلم) took hold of my hand and said, “O Mu’adh! By Allah I love you, so I advise you to never forget to recite after every prayer:

اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنِّي عَلَى ذِكْرِكَ، وَشُكْرِكَ، وَحُسْنِ عِبَادَتِكَ
“Allâhumma a’innî alâ dhikrika, wa shukrika, wa husni ‘ibâdatika
O Allah, help me remember You, to be grateful to You, and to worship You in an excellent manner”

[Abu Dawud] [Book 16, Hadith 1422]

What Happened To The Previous Nations In Quran And Why | Mufti Menk

Allah asks us subhanahu wa’ta’ala to travel the Earth looking at what has happened to the previous nations in order for us to take heed and to learn a lesson and Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala also instructs us to read about the previous Nations.

Therefore, in the Quran in many places He has told us about the previous Nations what…… and Allah says all these stories have in them lessons for those with sound intellect.

The stories of the previous Nations, As much as there is a warning within them, there is a sense of comfort that Justice does prevail.

Comfort for those in crisis and a warning for those who are creating crises. Prepare for the everlasting life in your temporary life.

When you’re doing good, keep doing good. Don’t let the negatives of others make your positive disappear.

Why Allah Creates The Things & Prohibits Then! Mufti Menk

We spoke about the prohibition of intoxicants as well as gambling and Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala makes mention of some of the reasons. Some people ask a question;

Why did Allah create things and then asked us not to engage in them or not to participate or not to do then?  Why did He not just leave them and not create them at all and only tell us to worship Him through instructions and obligations.

well, Allah tests us with both asking us to do things as well as asking us to stay away from things.

Sometimes while questioning the wisdom of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala people begin to dwindle in faith not realizing the harms of these things.

If you take a look at those whose lives are all about intoxicants and gambling there is always something wrong with the remembrance of Allah and their prayer and many times They’re involved in feuds and fights enmity and hatred.

The Verses : Speaking About Rolling Down Tears And Saving Lives | Mufti Menk

Sometimes we dislike someone. So we say things that are unfair and unjust simply because we’ve disliked them. That is unfair. Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala tells us

Yes, when you are in a crisis when you’ve had someone who’s wronged, you when you dislike someone for a certain reason don’t let that lead you to be unjust with that person. Remember the exact parameters of dislike; don’t let it go beyond that at all.

Allah is telling us to stand up for justice Even if it is in favor of those whom you disagree.

it is important for us also to realize on a totally different note that our duty as human beings is to look out for the other human beings. They are all the creatures of Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala. It is unfair for us to want to survive at the expense of others.

As human beings we must be concerned for all life. Allah tells us in Surat al-ma’idah that if you saved a single soul, a single person it is equivalent to having saved Humanity because you’re following a good teaching.

At times when we are going through difficulty, I’m sure you and I have tasted. How listening to the Quran, reciting the Quran actually helps so much. It brings us to tears, especially when we’re emotional when we’re feeling low and we hear the verses of Allah (Swt).

Allah speaks about these tears and He praises the tears, the tears of those who cry when they hear the verses of Allah.

Imagine you’re in a crisis, imagine you’re going through hardship and difficulty and then Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala’s verses bring about a comfort, a soothing feeling.
