The duas are in the followings: This is a dua that has helped me immensely in life. Id recommend you memorize it as well. اللَّهُمَ حَبَّبْ إِلَيْنَا الْإِيمَانَ وَزَيِّنْهُ فِي قُلُوبِنَا، وَكَرِّهْ إِلَيْنَا الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الرَّاشِدِينَ
transliteration: “ALLAHUMMA HABBIB ILAINAL IMAN WA ZAYYINHU FI QULUUBINA WA KARRIH ILAYYAL KUFRO WAL FUSUUQO WAL ‘ISHYAAN, WAJ’ALNA MINAR ROSYIDIN” “O Allah make our faith beloved to us and beautify it in our hearts and make hateful to us disbelief, wickedness and disobedience. And make us of the rightly guided.
اللهم ارنا الحق حقاً وارزقنا اتباعه وارنا الباطل باطلا وارزقنا اجتنابه
transliteration: Allahumma arinal haqqa haqqaw warzuqnat tiba’ah, wa arinal batila batilaw warzuqnaj tinabah Translation: O Allah! show us the truth as true, and inspire us to follow it. Show us falsehood as falsehood, and inspire us to abstain from it.

Moreover, he says the way people people call each other kuffar is actually becoming a joke and his finding is in the following:

Human beings are compassionate creatures that in their or in their essence they have the capability of showing #love, #mercy and compassion like no other creature that’s why we don’t just show compassion to ourselves and to our family members we are capable of showing #compassion to a neighbour to a stranger to even another animal to plants. We show compassion all around; we show compassion when you’re walking down the street and you see a rock in the path you remove that rock that’s part of you being an insan’ (human) in other words Humanity is actually called humanity because they care about other People and when that sentiment that quality is removed from the human being they’re not even insan anymore.

He addresses that the #Sunnah of Ibrahim alayhi salatu wassalam we celebrate it because it was theinstruction of Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’ala given to Muhammad sallAllahu alayhi wa salam to inform us about what happened to Ibrahim alayhi salat wa sallam. In addition, He clarifies the confusion between Prophet Ishmael alayhi salatu wassalam and Prophet Isaac alayhi salatu wassalam in other religious scriptures. Mufti Menk urges we will get closer to Allah (swt) by leaving our bad habits through the #piety (#obedience and #devotion) which Allah needs by the sacrifice. “Verily, my Salat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the ‘Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists)

From the Quran and hadith He says that Engaging in #Witchcraft is a shirk (associating partnership with Allah (swt) and makes disbeliever of what were revealed on the prophet Muhammed sallallahu alaihi wasallam. The people who take help from Black magic are jealous of others and weak in Eman (#faith).
Mufti Menk’s Quote regarding black magic in the following: “Witchcraft, we don’t believe in doing it but we believe it can be done and Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’ala says that the evil people are the ones who engage in this type of magic black magic and different types of magic and it does have an effect on people; yes it does and we have spoken about it or it is spoken about in the Sharia from two different angles the one who does it and the one whom it is done upon as for the one who does it he takes himself or she takes herself out of the fold of Islam.” At last Mufti Menk addresses how to save and chase away the affect from Black Magic, Evil Eye, Fortune Telling And Jinn by the surahs, the verses of the Quran and Duas from the various hadith.
In the Eid al-Adha lecture 2017 with English Subtitle #MuftiMenk addresses #Eid is a day of happiness and every single one of us is searching for happiness. We can achieve the true #happiness and the #contentment of our hearts by fulfilling instructions and obligations of Allah (swt) and towards his creature through improving & developing #character and #conduct, forgiving others to #forgiveness of Allah, starting good deeds from home, etc. He referred the Ibrahim (A.s) used to follow Allah’s instructions no matter what they were and how Allah (swt) elevated his status in Quran. So we should follow the spirit of Ibrahim (as)’s #sacrifice to succeed in the world and the next by elevating our status to Allah (swt).
