#MuftiMenk mentioned that there was something about the hearts of the #Companions of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam that was different from all other hearts and this is why Allah chose them; selected them and became pleased with them look at these qualities:- #honesty, #trustworthiness & #truthfulness. They were companions because their hearts were special what was so special about their hearts they had honesty. The quality that is loved by Allah is to stand firm upon #justice even if you are losing everything.

Before starting off the lecture #MuftiMenk mentions that you are just a number. That’s it don’t ever think that you’re better than the people you are speaking to and don’t ever think that you’re higher than anyone else. Because if that’s the case you will never be able to reach their hearts speak as though they are better than you. The talk was given at the #Africa Muslims #Agency – 30 Years Commemoration in Cape Town South Africa. He presents the importance of giving charity and helping orphans unconditionally by quoting from hadiths and the Quran. He says that when we came onto the earth we had zero and when we are going to leave we will still have zero with us besides our deeds obviously. When we die there are two things what we earned is one and what we spent is another subhanAllah we’re going to be asked about both. The best thing give #charity what Allah has blessed with and don’t expect anything.

Shaykh Hasan Ali hightlights that #sisters, you’re already #beautiful without wearing all those #glamorous #cloths, #nailingup, #facingup, why? Because Allah azzawajal has made women more beautiful than men naturally. This is the case and you’re beautiful wherever you are and it’s better that you stay naturally the way Alalh kept you.
#MuftiMenk addresses that currently we are facing many challenges in the #Ummah, the greatest of which is the hatred that we have for one another. This is in contradiction to the teachings of Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam. Our duty is to spread #deen and #goodness to the entire #humanity as a whole.
Mufti Menk said that #Eman starts off by saying the #Shahada and then by believing it in your heart and showing it with all your organs you know working towards it. if you just claim it and you are moving in a different direction all together then what is the point? So we need to learn to love one another. He further adds that #Leadership is when you are able to bring people together when you are able to make people understand that the commonalities are far more than the little differences while he was addressing the youth about leadership in this lecture.
In this lecture #MuftiMenk highlights the root causes of #depression in the #materialistic #society and how #spirituality that devoting to the religious teachings only can remove depression by bringing happiness & #serenity in our lives. He also says that the #religion we follow Islam is a way of life. It does not have rules and regulations only connected to one aspect of living but in fact it includes every aspect of living and if we were to live according to Islam we would actually be very happy people.

#MuftiMenk highlights that A believe #woman has focused upon the #pleasure of Allah subhanahu wata’ala .She is focused upon the #goal that she has which is to earn Jannah; to earn #paradise. #She knows that this #life is absolutely temporary and our ultimate retun is to Allah (swt). So this focus upon paradise and upon the pleasure of Allah is what makes us primarily different from the others who are focused upon worldly material items in this lecture.

In this lecture #MuftiMenk highlights how to achieve the pleasure of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. He says that we have to acquire #knowledge and #character & #conduct with #spirituality through #sincerity to earn the pleasure of Allah (swt).In addition, he mentions the hadith of the prophet Mohammad (saw) “Whosoever treads a path going to seek #knowledge, Allah makes the person’s path to #Paradise quite simple & quite easy.
Mufti Menk Quotes: “if we want to earn the pleasure of Allah subhanahu wata’ala we need knowledge; we need to know what sincerity is and you need to sincerely know what sincerity is. If we are sincerely searching for the method of sincerity, we will be able to be sincere correctly because sincerity with knowledge is true sincerity. But when someone is sincere with no knowledge they may not be able to be sincere.”
#MuftiMenk mentions the distinguishing factors which make Islam different to speak about the beauty of #Islam. The beauty of Islam, it has laws that govern the life of #mankind and #jinn kind right up to the end of time and it has taught between the Maker and the One Whom He has made, the Creator created you. Islam is more a way of #life than a #religion in this lecture.
