when someone says, I’m not sure if this is all true. Maybe because inside you really don’t want it to be all true. I’m not sure. really true? Is it really true? Is this, this, this, that? Is this really there? Is this really there?

And it’s like, If I’m right and you’re wrong, then I’m going to be okay. And if you’re right and I’m wrong, then nothing’s going to happen to me.

But if you’re wrong and I’m right, you’re in trouble.

And of course, for us, we’re not playing probability here. We have certainty in it.

Lessons from the surat Al-Furqan. Allah tells us us about what will be happening on the Day of Judgment and he tells us what will be the issues that people will regret?

Allah says while you are thinking about all of what you want on earth; remember there will be certain things you will regret when you come on the Day of Judgment. One of the things Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’ala

One of the things Allah Subhanahu WA Ta’ala talks about very loud and clear is the distance between us and the revelation. When there is a distance between us and the Quran we will regret it.

one of the biggest regrets that man would have on the day of judgment is Allah sent you a message regrets that man would have on the day of judgment is Allah sent you a message and you didn’t bother looking at what that message was.

 

The second matter the issue of company, the issue of your friends the issue of those around you is raised very powerfully in this surah Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala speaks about those who will regret on the day of judgment, they will regret their company the people they had around them.

You need to ask yourself two questions what type of friends do I have? What type of people do I interact with? That is question number one; question number two is what type of a friend am I to those whom I interact with? – Mufti Menk
