Yasir Qadhi illustrates here what is the primary need that a woman wants from her husband in #marriage; primary emotion that is the continual #love and the continual enveloping of that attention that the husband always makes his wife priority? The #husband always shows his #wife that I’m thinking about you; I’m caring about you; I will always love you to feel that love to feel enrichment they need to be constantly reassured that their husbands love them.

On the other hand #MuftiMenk mentions that many men could not be bothered to fulfill the #conjugal #rights of their own #spouse. When men sometimes think that’s it it’s me I’m only worried about me me, me and me you know, no way not at all it is about us it is about a #family unit.

He mentions that before we decide to purify that heart of ours, without an effort from us the heart is not going to be purified .
In this lecture Mufti Menk Quote , “The believer as you know is only successful if he / she develops his /her link with his / her Maker and cleanses his / her heart the heart we refer to the soul Allah subhanahu wa’ta’ala speaks about cleansing oneself from the sins that are apparent as well as those that are hidden”.
#MuftiMenk mentions that the prophet Muhammed (saw) advised us to remember two things and don’t ever forget two things – to reject the #truth and to reject #justice that is the first and the second one is to despise people; to think lowly of people; to treat people in a very cheap way that is #pride with English subtitle.

Also there is another beautiful dua in Sahih Muslim … Narrated ‘Abdullah b. Amr b. al-‘As reported that he heard Allah’s Messenger ﷺ as saying: Verily, the hearts of all the sons of Adam are between the two fingers out of the fingers of the Compassionate Lord as one heart. He turns that to any (direction) He likes. Then Allah’s Messenger ﷺ said: 0 Allah, the Turner of the hearts, turn our hearts to Thine obedience.
