Oh Allah! I Am Hoping For Your Mercy | Ep #26 SFR | Ramadan 2018

In the episode Number 26 of “Supplications From Revelation” (SFR) #Ramadan2018 series #MuftiMenk makes mention of some amazing duas of the prophet Muhammed (ﷺ) for happiness & contentment with the given blessings and seeking for easy reckoning day & refuge from EVIL acts being servant of Allah (swt). The duas / supplications are given in the following:

*Dua to seek refuge from EVIL acts

اَللَّهُمَّ إِنَّي أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا عَمِلْتُ وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا لَمْ أَعْمَلْ
Allaahumma ‘innee a’oothu bika min sharri maa ‘amiltu, wa min sharri maa lam a’mal
O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the evil of what I have done, and from the evil of what I have not done

**Dua for increase in wealth and offspring
اللَّهُمَّ أكْثِرْ مَالِي، وَوَلَدِي، وَبَارِكْ لِي فِيمَا أعْطَيْتَنِي
Allahumma ak-tsir maalii wa waladii, wa baarik lii fiimaa a’thoitanii
O Allah, increase my wealth and offspring, and bless me in what You have given me

***Dua for one in distress
اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلا تَكِلْنِي إِلَى نَفْسِي طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ ، وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أنْتَ
Transliteration:allaahumma raḥmataka arjoo, fa laa takilnee ilaa nafsee ṭarfata ‛aynin, wa aṣliḥ lee sha’nee kullahu, laa ilaaha illaa ant
Translation: O Allah, it is Your mercy that I hope for, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for a blink of an eye and rectify for me all of my affairs. None has the right to be worshipped except You.

****A POWERFUL DUA FOR HAPPINESS

اللِّهُمَّ إنِّي عَبْدُكَ ، ابْنُ عَبْدِكَ ، ابْنُ أَمَتِكَ ، نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ ، مَاضِ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ ، سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ ، أَوْ أنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَاَبِكَ ، أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ ، أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ ، أنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي ، وَ نُورَ صَدْرِي ، وَ جَلاءَ حُزْنِي ، وَ ذَهَابَ هَمِّي
Allahumma inni ‘abduka, ibnu ‘abdika, ibnu amatika, naasiyati biyadika, maadhin fiyya hukumuka, ‘adhlun fiyya qadha’uka asaluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka, sammaita bihi nafsaka, aw an-zaltahu fi kitabika, aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika, awista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilmil-ghaibi ‘indaka, an taj’alal-Qur’ana Rabbi’a qalbi, wa nura sadri, wa jalaa’a huzni, wa dhahaba hammi
O Allaah, I am Your servant, son of Your servant, son of Your maidservant, my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You name Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety.’

*****Dua for Success, Honor and to stay protected from the punishment of Hell-fire
أََللّٰهُمَّ أَحْسِنْ عَاقِبَتَنَا فِىْ الْاُ مُوْرِ كُلِّهَا وَأَجِرْنَا مِنْ خِزْىِ الدُّنْيَا وَعَذَابِ الْاٰخِرَةِ
Allahumma ahsin aqibatana fil umoore kulleha wa ajirna min khizyid-dunya wa azaabil aakhira
O Allah! Make sublime in their outcome; all our actions; and save us from disgrace in this world, and from the chastisement in the Hereafter.

****** Dua for contenment
اللّهُمَّ قَنِّعْنِيْ بِمَا رَزَقْتَنِيْ ، وَبَارِكْ لِيْ فِيْهِ
alllhuma qanieni bima razaqtani , wabarik li fih
O Allah, make me content with what you have provided me

******* Dua for easy reckoning day
اللَّهُمَّ حَاسِبْنِي حِسَابًا يَسِيرًا
allaa-hum-ma ḥaa-sibnee ḥisaa-ban ya-seeraa
O Allah! Grant me an easy reckoning

Supplications That Encompass Our Entire Living | Ep #27 SFR | Ramadan 2018

*Dua for Eman ( sighlty different but the same meaning)
اللهم لك الحمد كله ، اللهم لا قابض لما بسطت ، و لا مقرب لما باعدت ، و لا مباعد لما قربت ، و لا معطي لما منعت ، و لا مانع لما أعطيت أسألك ابسط علينا من بركاتك و رحمتك و فضلك و رزقك ، اللهم إني أسألك النعيم المقيم الذي لا يحول و لا يزول اللهم إني أسألك النعيم يوم العيلة ، و الأمن يوم الحرب اللَّهُمَّ عَائِذٌ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا أَعْطَيْتَنَا وَمِنْ شَرِّ مَا مَنَعْتَنَا , اللَّهُمَّ حَبِّبْ إِلَيْنَا الإِيمَانَ , وَزَيِّنْهُ فِي قُلُوبِنَا , وَكَرِّهْ إِلَيْنَا الْكُفْرَ وَالْفُسُوقَ وَالْعِصْيَانَ وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنَ الرَّاشِدِينَ , اللَّهُمَّ تَوَفَّنَا مُسْلِمِينَ وَأَحْيِنَا مُسْلِمِينَ وَأَلْحِقْنَا بِالصَّالِحِينَ غَيْرَ خَزَايَا وَلا مَفْتُونِينَ

alllahumm lak alhamd kulluh , alllahumm la qabid lima basatt , wala basit lima qabadt , wala hadi liman ‘adlalt , wala mudill liman hadayt , wala mueti lima manaet , wala manie lima ‘aetayt , wala muqarrib lima baeadt , wala mubaeid lima qarrabt , alllahumm absut ealayna min barakatik warahmatik wafadlik warizqik , alllahumm ‘inni ‘as’aluk alnnaeim almuqim alladhi la yahul wala yazul , allahum ‘iiniy ‘as’alak alnaeim yawm aleilat , w al’amn yawm alharb, alllahumm eayidh bik min sharr ma ‘aetaytana wamin sharr ma manaetana , alllahumm habbib ‘iilayna al’iiman , wazayinh fi qulubina , wakarrih ‘iilayna alkufr walfusuq waleisyan wajealna min alrrashidin , alllahumm tawaffana muslimin wa’ahyina muslimin wa’alhiqna bialssalihin ghayr khazaya wala maftunin

O Allah! Yours is all praise. There is no one to withhold what You extend, and no one to extend what You withhold! There is no one to guide what You lead astray, and no one to lead astray whom You guide! There is no one to give what You forbid, and no one to forbid what You give! There is no one to bring near what You hold far and no one to hold far what You bring nearO Allah, expand to us some of Your blessings, mercy and favour and give us provision! O Allah, I ask You for the abiding blessing which is neither changed nor removed. O Allah, I ask You for blessing on the Day of Utter Poverty and security on the Day of Fear. O Allah, I seek refuge with You from the evil of what You give us. O Allah, make us love belief and adorn our hearts with it. Make us hate disbelief, deviance and rebellion. Place us among the rightly-guided. O Allah, make us die Muslims and make us live as Muslims and join us to the rightly, acting, who are neither disappointed nor afflicted.

**Dua for increase and protection from decrease
اَللهُمَّ زِدْنَا وَلاَ تَنْقُصْنَا،وَأَكْرِمْنَا وَلاَ تُهِنَّا،وَأَعْطِنَا وَلاَ تَحْرِمْنَا،وَآثِرْنَا وَلاَ تُؤْثِرْ عَلَيْنَا،وَارْضِنَا وَارْضَ عَنَّا
Allahumma zidna wa la tanqusna, wa akrimna wa la tuhinna, wa atina wa la tahrimna, wa athirna wa la tu’thir alayna, wa ardhina war-dha anna
“O Allah! Increase us [in Your Blessings and rewards] and do not decrease us, HONOUR us and do not humiliate us, give us [from Your Gifts] and do not deprive us, be in FAVOUR of us and not against us, and make us satisfied and be satisfied with us.”

Remember Four Things When Your Parents Become Old

In this video clip #MuftiMenk makes mentions of Allah has decreed that we will be kind to our parents from the Quran and important four things when they become old with dua. The Dua / Supplications is in the following:

Arabic: رَبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا

Transliteration: Rabbir hamhumaa kamaa rabbayaanee sagheera oh allah

Translation: O my Lord! have compassion on them, as they brought me up (when I was) little.

Make This Dua [For Ummah] On Our Tongues Very Often

In this video clip #MuftiMenk makes mentions of the dua /supplication for the #Ummah from the Quran asking Allah, oh Allah fill our hearts with kindness for the rest of the believers. He adds that if we’ve had a dispute with someone of the Ummah we are asking Allah; o Allah do not let that malice come into my heart for another Muslim in light of Islamic teaching.

The dua is in the following: Arabic: رَبَّنَا اغْفِرْ لَنَا وَلِإِخْوَانِنَا الَّذِينَ سَبَقُونَا بِالْإِيمَانِ وَلَا تَجْعَلْ فِي قُلُوبِنَا غِلًّا لِّلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّكَ رَءُوفٌ رَّحِيمٌ – 59:10

Transliteration: Rabbanagh fir lanaa wa li ikhwaani nal lazeena sabqoonaa bil eemaani wa laa taj’al fee quloobinaa ghillalil lazeena aamanoo rabbannaaa innaka Ra’oofur Raheem

Translation: “Our Lord, forgive us and our brothers who preceded us in faith and put not in our hearts [any] resentment toward those who have believed. Our Lord, indeed You are Kind and Merciful.”

Importance Of Saying The Dua Upon Tuning 40 Yrs Old

Arabic:  رَبِّ اَوۡزِعۡنِىۡۤ اَنۡ اَشۡكُرَ نِعۡمَتَكَ الَّتِىۡۤ اَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَىَّ وَعَلٰى وَالِدَىَّ وَاَنۡ اَعۡمَلَ صَالِحًا تَرۡضٰٮهُ وَاَصۡلِحۡ لِىۡ فِىۡ ذُرِّيَّتِىۡ ؕۚ اِنِّىۡ تُبۡتُ اِلَيۡكَ وَاِنِّىۡ مِنَ الۡمُسۡلِمِيۡنَ

Transliteration: Rabbi aqzi’neee an ashkura ni’matakal lateee an’amta ‘alaiya wa ‘alaa waalidaiya wa an a’mala saalihan tardaahu wa aslih lee fee zurriyyatee innee tubtu ilaika wa innee minal muslimeen

Translation: “My Lord, enable me to be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents and to work righteousness of which You will approve and make righteous for me my offspring. Indeed, I have repented to You, and indeed, I am of the Muslims.” Surah Al-Ahqaf [46:15]

Do We Really Make The Dua [Sleeping Dua]

In this clip #MuftiMenk makes mentions of two amazing before going to bed – #sleepingdua ( sunnah dua of bedtime) narrating the importance of saying of these duas (supplications) for the given another chance by the Almighty letting us wake up in the morning to see the world once again as sleeping is a small death. These two duas are given in the following respectively:

Arabic: بِاسْمِكَ رَبِّي وَضَعْتُ جَنْبِي، وَبِكَ أَرْفَعُهُ، فَإِنْ أَمْسَكْتَ نَفْسِي فَارْحَمْهَا، وَإِنْ أَرْسَلْتَهَا فَاحْفَظْهَا، بِمَا تَحْفَظُ بِهِ عِبَادَكَ الصَّالِحِينَ

Transliteration: Bismika rabbî wadactu janbî wa bika arfacuhu. Fa-in amsakta nafsî fa-rhamhâ, wa in arsaltahâ fa-hfazhâ bi-mâ tahfazu bihi cibâdaka s-sâlihîn. Translation:

“In Your name my Lord, I lie down and in Your name I rise, so if You should take my soul then have mercy upon it, and if You should return my soul then protect it in the manner You do so with Your righteous servants.

” Arabic:بِاسْـمِكَ اللّهُـمَّ أَمـوتُ وَأَحْـيا

Transliteration: Bismika l-lâhumma amûtu wa ahyâ. Translation: “In Your name O Allah, I live and die.”

Recite The Powerful Surah & Dua During Times Of Sorrow & Grief

Arabic: اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي عَبْدُكَ وَابْنُ عَبْدِكَ وَابْنُ أَمَتِكَ نَاصِيَتِي بِيَدِكَ مَاضٍ فِيَّ حُكْمُكَ ، عَدْلٌ فِيَّ قَضَاؤُكَ ، أَسْأَلُكَ بِكُلِّ اسْمٍ هُوَ لَكَ سَمَّيْتَ بِهِ نَفْسَكَ أَوْ عَلَّمْتَهُ أَحَدًا مِنْ خَلْقِكَ أَوْ أَنْزَلْتَهُ فِي كِتَابِكَ أَوِ اسْتَأْثَرْتَ بِهِ فِي عِلْمِ الْغَيْبِ عِنْدَكَ أَنْ تَجْعَلَ الْقُرْآنَ رَبِيعَ قَلْبِي وَنُورَ صَدْرِي وَجِلَاءَ حُزْنِي وَذَهَابَ هَمِّي

Transliteration: Allaahumma ‘innee ‘abduka, wabnu ‘abdika, wabnu amatika, nasiyatee biyadika, madhin fiyya hukmuka, adlun fiyya qadha’uka, asaluka bikulli ismin huwa laka, sammayta bihi nafsaka, aw anzaltahu fee kitabika, ‘aw allamthu ahadan min khaliqika, aw ista’tharta bihi fee ilmil ghaybi ‘indaka, án taj’alal-qurana rabee’a qalbee, wa noora sadree, wa jala’a huznee, wa thahaba hammee

Translation:O Allaah indeed I am Your slave, and the son of Your slave, and the son of Your female slave, my forelock is in Your Hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask of You with all Your names, which belong to You, which You have named Yourself with, or which You have taught someone from Your creation or revealed it in Your Book or that which You have taken unto Your self with the knowledge of the unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and light of my breast and keep away from me my sadness, and that my grief goes away –
